Was looking at the lone remaining Druther's menu the other day. I definitely do not recall them having Fried Chicken when I was a kid, or am I misremembering?
It is in Campbellsville and really just a family owned diner-ish restaurant. It is Druthers in name only. When I went a few years ago, they had a buffet with catfish and that kind of stuff.

Great little experience if you're ever in Campbellsville.

Yeah, aware of the location. Assumed it was basically that - my route home from a buddy's super secret lake house at Cumberland takes me right by it.

We really only ate there for breakfast as a kid, but worshipped. Ours was the Princeton location, which I believe was the 2nd to last remaining, and was around for many years after they closed everywhere else.

I feel like I look pretty good in my face for 41 and my Mom looks great for 73. Her mother looked amazing as well and people would ask if they were sisters.

Well, at Joseph-Beth Bookshop the other day we’re asking about some books at the counter and then she walks away to look for something.

Dude goes, “what was your wife’s member number again?”

Me, “well that’s my Mom and I have no idea what her member number is but I’ll be sure to relay the compliment 😃

Bookshop dude: 😳

Mom after hearing: 🥳

Sounds like ole boy has a thing for mom….good for her

@august-west shewee, that’s a change. Siesta Key to CT, touch me, winters going to be tough brother. Why you have to leave me bro, we’re only like an hour apart?

Well this is news to me. In fact, if I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet I wouldn’t be more surprised than I am now to have learned I am moving to Connecticut. So long Paducah, been nice knowing ya

He was referring to me but he’s also an idiot, so I wasn’t gonna say anything.

I’m 51/49 on the move. Will do really well financially and it will be fantastic to have access to daily help. Can’t say I’m crazy about being in CT but we will still snow-bird to warmer weather in the winter if it gets too miserable.

My stepdad managed the Druthers in Muldraugh when my mom met him. I never understood when I was younger(2nd grade) how he went from that to a chemist for Rohm&Haas.

It was always cool when she met him at work and I got free burgers though, and they crushed McDonalds in quality.

-this league is 3.0... I play with a lot of 3.5 guys often as well. Most of my tennis is non usta... but it's a lifesaver in winter.

^picked tennis up after covid killed old man basketball. Recommend to anyone. You can get "decent" quickly if you have any ball skills whatsoever.

Well I got up to 4.5 about 20 years ago but have barely touched a racket in 10 years. Have maybe one other guy in Lexington that I could play with. Looking to pick it up again this spring/summer, and although you will probably beat my brains in, I may hit you up for a little scrimmage.

DeBoer to Bama. UW message boards already calling him DeWhore.

Here's a comp for you. I see some of Travis Ford's form in Reed's 3 pt shot. Takes me back.

None whatsoever, you have a terrible memory & basketball eye, as demonstrated repeatedly. Travis began his motion at breast, Reed ear/eye level. However, I certainly had that same Travis "feeling" when Reed was at the line to close out Florida, and really, every shot he takes.

If we're talking pure form, Travis Perry...shew. Talk about perfect.

Well, he should slide Penix a cool 10 mill for making this happen for him.

And obviously he’s going to have a better chance to make the playoffs at Bama every year than UW in the B10.

Their worst mistake was letting all of the gen-pop pay to play into their schools when the public school system collapsed a few years ago. By collapse, I obviously mean the complete collapse- not the decades long decline they were on before.
If it makes you feel any better, we only went to Catholic school the one COVID year FCPS decided to not work then went back to our lowly, public school roots immediately the next school year. Many apologies for being part of the invasion.

We genuinely loved our time there and actually wanted to stay, but didn’t feel right doing so being filthy Protestants.

I respect the grind Wayne but damn. That market has to be saturated as hell.
Lol... I don't do biz development in logistics per se. But it is the field I work in. The market's either under capacity (esp during Covid) or over capacity (right now), and when it's over capacity the wolves come out otherwise they starve.
