That would have been a poor decision but I felt it was needed to clarify... I don't really dislike you. It's all a fake storyline for everyone's entertainment.
-Got out this morning to drop the niece off at work, grab the guys at work some Sugar and Spice donuts as well as my kids.
- Speaking of work, a guy that’s become a friend was fired at another location yesterday. This dude hired me after I admitted to stupid stuff during an interview because of the type of background check my employer does which catches expunged charges. Might as well be honest.
The guy is responsible for at 12 people in my area throughout 5 stores making 6 figures, but one of them was black and gay and that guy reported a hostile work environment due to black/gay jokes being told by not just his boss but several admitted that he himself partook in said jokes.
Just a reminder of the world we live in today. Sad that someone could cost a man that took over a 20M store and made it an 85M (in 6years time) his life over a few jokes.
- Got a tempurpedic pillow and I’ve slept great since and haven’t had any of the neck/back pain I used to have. Might upgrade the mattress too.
- Anyone still hit Iroquois for sledding? I’m contemplating taking the kids somewhere with a bigger hill today.
- NTI is perfect. I get the notion of it ruins snow days, but not really when they cram a whole day in 3 hours and do not have to make these days up. That’s more real life than anything else these kids get anymore.
- Haven’t paid attention to politics in awhile, but Trump won Iowa in a landslide? I’m surprised republicans and democrats haven’t suicided him yet.
- I watched The Drop last night after taking the kids to Jaggers, which has great burgers, and it’s still hard to believe Tony Sopran…….James Gandolfini is dead.
- Itinerary is done for DC. It took some convincing with all the kids but Jack Rose made the to do list. Hope it’s worth it because it cost!

Before being admitted as an attorney in Kentucky, you have to swear that you’ve never participated in a duel. I’ve always wondered why the bar is so against duels, and I think I’ve reached a conclusion - it’s because they are a great, cost-effective way to settle disputes. And that just won’t do.

- I hate NTI. My strength as a teacher is developing rapport and a sense of community in the classroom so we can all have good discussion and effectively communicate and analyze what we're reading. Can't do that on a Google Meet, but whatever. We get to count the day.

- This wind is brutal. It looked like only rain and damp conditions and then the sunrise happened. Snow/ice/wind/****. Cloud seeding for the loss.
- Watched American Nightmare on Netflix last night. I felt like they did a great job of making "the boyfriend" look like a cuck. Poor guy. That was a wild story that lost me in the middle-end portion of the last episode. Then the final 3-5 minutes were a blend of sadness-optimism that I haven't experienced in a while.
- Stanley Cups have jumped the pop-culture shark, I think. The cool thing to do now is mock them and post it to your TikTok or something. So I'd say suburban housewives are in need of a new OMG trend. My bet is some ordiary brand from last generation is going to go through a major re-branding and then have an influencer ignite it like kindling.
- Looks like Applebees and Chilis are still slugging it out to be the last mid-tier chain restaurant standing. Chilis should be the favorite but there's a lot of fight and determination in 'bees; they should have been knocked out years ago.
