I know Gonzaga’s 17-6 is different than most due to SOS but they’re still not having a terrible year.

What I don’t like is the thoughts passed along by their assistant yday that they lose when they don’t shoot good, and well everyone shoots good on us so I expect them to shoot it.

I think we win this one but it’s going to be a 2-3 point win so buckle up and post all the redass!

There’s really only 1 thing that worries me about this game today and that is Mark Few. He put on a clinic last year against Cal, granted they were a much better team then, but that is my worry. I mean if Barnes can out coach him surly Few will have something up his sleeve.

-After yesterday’s weak showing I’m looking forward all the redass today but hoping it still leads to a win.

We SHOULD win by double digits, but that’s doubtful if they’re poppin.

-They have shown that motivational quotes, speeches, books, etc actually work but you basically have to keep listening to them daily.

I post them for myself and whoever needs one for the day every morning usually. Helps me anyway.

-First episode of Curb was meh.

Will Baker is a perfect example of how the transfer portal is good. Follows his coach from Nevada where he was good but I’d never heard of him. Comes to LSU and is solid and is now looking like a Drew Timme against a top ranked team in the country.

Cal could use old Charlie Strings core values - keep it simple!!

1. Honesty
2. Treat women with respect
3. No drugs
4. No stealing
5. No guns

Kooky got worn out cutting a lock? I just jumped Florida Mom’s car should I be tired also? Honestly it is warm out finally today, we’re pushing 77 right now.

Hit up Perfect North last night as a chaperone for my kid’s youth group. I had never been there before. Aside from obnoxious drunk Northern Kentucky / Southern Ohio trash, a pretty good time. The terrain park is really solid; Wayne D was getting serious air.

He was talking about guarding & converting back to his natural wingish style from the summer/early 5 necessities, and how difficult that was for him early.

Was one of the best interviews I’ve heard from a player in a long time, btw.

You really spent 2 posts talking about Burks playing 2 on this team. 🤡

I’ll approach the OC with a wait and see but the stats Boise put up last year says his offense can produce. To those wanting to call out the level of competition I’d point out the talent level he was working with is equal.

Regardless our talent is better than it’s ever been so I won’t be planning on UKO to accept my bets anytime soon.

Yes, bc of all the things this team could work on in practice, I can’t imagine spending 1 min of time saying “we need to run Burks at the 2.” Even more magnified with Mitchell out.

And yes, that’s 3 posts.

Cool, well that didn’t happen. Fing idiot.

You do realize he’s our 10-12th man, or no? And that given our injuries it’s likely he ends up guarding a guard on the 1st 5 in practice/drills on occasion while running with the 2nd unit?

I’m guessing not. Pro tip: In practice they run 5 v 5

Lol at your thinking we ran a practice segment devoted to “working on” Burks at the 2. Good grief, get it together.

Which considering a few teams we have left are very long and athletic isn’t a bad scout team practice thing to do.
