-Thought I'd read where Wisconsin was likely going to name Greg Gard(assistant) as coach-in-waiting. He's been on those "top assistant coaches" lists for a while, so that would make sense. Not sure Virginia to Wisconsin is a move up for Bennett, even if he does have ties to the area.
-Just saw that team pic of this year's CATS, and it's gonna take a while to get used to a team that looks, well, average-sized. Last year's bunch looked like the Monstars.
-Wife just landed on American soil after 9 days overseas. Can exhale now.

- Big fan of NBA free agency season. There’s gonna be a whole lot of guys benefit hugely from NBA teams willingness to overpay now before the cap skyrockets (those deals won’t look nearly as bad then). We are now in a world where Jimmy Butler might turn down a 5yr/$90M max deal to sign for 1 year/$4M and Brandon Knight is a $14M/year guy.
- Super excited about the updates at Commonwealth. Looking forward to having a more intimate atmosphere and a more upscale feel (versus the erector-set atmosphere of the past). I am in favor of reducing capacity even further than the 61k and hope we fill it up this year.
- Lost my purple lot pass but was moved to the Arboretum lot… which I didn’t know existed.
- Really, really worried about the linebackers. Just not certain what that group is gonna be able to do well.
- Have listened to LeBatards local radio show for 7 or 8 years. He used to call his dad, secretly record their conversations and then air his dad screaming and cussing the Marlins. Fantastic.They had to change with the show going national but it still has a similar feel.
- Beachfront Bargain Hunt is a classic bait and switch show. 75% of the homes are neither on the beach nor a bargain.
- If the Reds are gonna blow it up they should fully blow it up. Don’t go half-way.
