From a relationship/emotional trigger - to each their own. I get that. My great aunt went through it and it was really rough on my dad. Sucked.

But Sparks as a writer is terribly sappy and spells ish out. Movie wasn't any better.

Damn. Pretty much my biggest fear in life

GolfWorld article stated that "1 of every 3 Seniors in the United States dies of Alzheimer's or another form of dementia"

Is that correct? Jesus. Had no clue it was that prevalent.

It is my biggest death fear. I mean you are just a body with no memories of your life. I'd rather be shot.

Well, I've never read Nicholas Sparks lol...and I'm *very* curious why you have. Got any Danielle Steele recs while we're at it?

Watched the movie 'on accident' and it struck a chord, some of the scenes are downright eerie in their similarities.

But yeah, I full get it's a sappy chick flick in general. That's okay, I'm still a tough guy don't worry. :boxing:

Just got a yahoo alert that the kings are "probing" firing Karl and hiring Cal as gm/coach. It'd be nice to go 6 months without some ******** nba rumor.

If Cal wanted to **** all over his own legacy and ruin his goodwill with the Kentucky fanbase, leaving in July after his team is already on campus would be a great way to do it. No way he's that dumb. He may eventually leave, but he is not going to leave here under circumstances that would kill his relationship to this program (unless it is NCAA sanctions).

Won't give credence to any Cal-to-NBA rumors until one comes from Woj....crap.
Yep. Good time for a Cal tweet. Would he even go to the Kings? Would the Kings really drop 10m per year?

I'd say if we navigate this one we're pretty well clear for the foreseeable future.

Knew the second I read the 'Kentucky West' article about Bledsoe possibly going to the Kings that a Cal rumor would pop up. Seems like they want to do everything possible to make sure Cousins is a happy camper.

Cal would get torn to shreds, and rightfully so, if he leaves after kids that just signed with him to be one and done players arrived on campus for their freshman year. That's basically a big FU to those kids as I'd assume they'd be stuck here playing for a guy that didn't recruit them or forfeit a year of eligibility.

Wojo plus skipping the podcast with Greenberg is the only reason I'd have any hesitation. Without those 2 factors it would make no sense.

Rupp would be interesting if he did leave and the Kings/Pelicans game the night after Madness happens like Jones was tweeting about the other day.

-Anth, can you pick up your Yeti's soon before they get sold to someone else. We are sold out already and a guy offered us double retail to buy yours. Of course we said no. Come get them already.

-2 Red Lots yet again, but the rest of my crew is split all over the parking area. Sad day but looks like our tailgate is dead this season. Will be making the Huber family available to the UK Football Tailgating Free Agency this season. Already have a strong offer from Harris on the table. Anyone want to try to match their offer?

-Cant believe my youngest turns 1 tomorrow. When it comes to kids, time goes by too damn fast.

-Its now a month away, but getting pretty pumped for the Coach Stoops Bourbon & Cigar Social (Coaches For Kids) coming up. It benefits UK Children's Hospital and is always one of the most fun nights of the year. If you haven't signed up yet, get on it before it sales out.

Just tell me I'm not welcome anymore. You don't have to create a big back story to keep me out.

I'm sure, given the Cousins situation, the prospect of drafting WCS and their pursuit of a trade for Bledsoe that the Kings have been talking to Calipari a bunch. I'm also sure given their ridiculous track record he's smart enough to want no part of that godforsaken place.

Bottomline is George Karl is an absolute dumbass.

Huber, yes. Either WS or I will swing by tomorrow.

-Wojo and Charles Robinson are two that I really don't want talking about our coach. Thanks.

-Posted this on facebook but for whatever reason I've convinced myself that it's Friday. I mean it's Tuesday and no less than 4 times I've started planning my Friday evening and weekend.

Welp if you wanted to parse those 2 tweets out in a lawdog fashion, that isn't a decisive shootdown.

He's not looking for a job....but this job might be looking for him. The SacKing owner hasnt offered him a job, because he 1st has to negotiate the terms of what the job is & how much it pays.

still, it aint happening

STFU. That's about as decisive as shootdown as you'll ever get.

I agree if Cal were to bolt it would be right after the season ended hopefully in a wave of goodwill having just brought home 9 to the Bluegrass not at the beginning of July when his new players are settling in.

Why would someone offer double retail on that? Like, just go grab one someone else or Amazon it. What am I missing here?

He's been offered better jobs than Sacramento... was interesting being reported by Woj though... and yeah that message from Greenberg at the same time saying Cal wasnt going to make his scheduled appearance today left you scratching your head a bit.

Every time one of these rumors comes up I always go back to "Go coach the knicks, c-sucker"

We're talking about a guy already paying $500 for a GD cooler so it's not like he's smart with his money anyway. Sounds like a pretentious douchebag.

What better way to get axed from your ****** job/organization/yakety sax ****-show and receive 1.5 million buyout than to go for huge power grab behind the scenes to remove star player? Then back on ESPN behind the desk & profit.

It was like $30 for a tumbler that I'm giving away to my employees at work. Great call.

My new job will require me to drive around 90 minutes round trip each day. I'll probably get a Yeti cup (I got a Dick's gift card for Dad's Day '15), but only if it comes with a car-sticker window decal.I NEED people to know I have a Yeti. No sticker, no purchase.

Drove past a guy with 5 of those Apple stickers you get with Apple stuff on his car. They were lined up like the stick figure kid stickers. So if nothing else, I guess the guy owns an iPhone, an iPad, an iWatch, an iMac and a Newton. I guess.

Starting to fantasize how lethal and intetchangle our backcourt will be. DDMO, Dr. Jack Geesefeeder.

Offensively we should be much more entertaining next year. College ball is a guards' game.

Will Lee improve and be the best energy guy in the country?

What about Willis? Does he contribute?

Like how we can have certain specialists in roles.. Hawkins a defensive stopper. Who cares if he gets a couple of fouls? House money. Play aggressive.

Mudiay as a 3 point guy.

With the Murray announcement, Draft, and that video leaking of that Briscoe doc.. Feel like we're finally getting our bounce back. The hangover is over and the swag is back.
