Wedding Crashers is pretty overrated, imo. After they leave the house in Chesapeake Bay the movie Marcus end. Not sure I've seen it beyond that point more than once or twice. Step Brothers, 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, This is 40 all better.

Too Short has 10-15 really good songs out of probably 2,000 ...not a very good ratio.

...was never a huge fan. But when the beat is right, he's dope just like anyone else.

My playlist of his best songs is :fire::fire::fire:tho!

Top 5:

Just Another Day (an all time West Coast classic...SIREN!!!!)
We Do This
Gettin' It
Cocktails
Top Down (uncensored video ftw, Google it)

-Bo Ryan being Bo Ryan.

-Markelle Fultz visiting Washington because hey, if you have the chance to play for Lorenzo Romar and have all your games start at 11:30 p.m. EST on Fox Sports, you gotta take it.

-Gnocchi tonight at home for the first time. Not making it from scratch(obviously), but a dish that includes it. Gnocchi and polenta are two sides that always make me feel like I have $$$ when in fact I do not. They seem way more "exotic" than they actually are. Dumplings and grits, essentially. Love them both.

-Real-life GYERO run-ins are always awkward the first time(doesn't help that I'm pretty awkward myself). But even weirder are when GYERO intercepts real life on the regular, like Booker and HUBER living in Versailles, or me working with JenRus. All that takes some getting used to, but I like it. :D

SAE (the poster) is obviously not racist. What the hell do you want him to do? Sounds like when he had some power, he did his best.

And these idiotic frat boy racists- are they really racist or just fronting trying to impress each other and being complete dickhead fools with their silly chants and such? Either way, it's ********, but there's a difference.
Thanks for being wet rag while I'm needling SAE. I know he's not a racist.

Went to "like" SAE's post, but then it popped up to a new screen that said, " Are you sure you want to like this post?"

Really made me think long and hard about that critical decision.

-we tried to integrate when I was President, but the kid sucked so we ended up not giving a bid.

Don't think it's happened yet, actually.

Saw Precinct on a Food Network reality show the other night. The big blonde that looks like the female version of Guy Fieri was the host, and they were having a contest to pick the next executive chef. Seemed like a weird move for a place that nice.

Ruby is one of the weirdest eccentric dudes ever. The Donald Trump of the Ohio Valley. Seems par for the course with him.

My list > Your list.

95% of his songs sound the same, which is why he's always been so overrated to me ---> and that's one of them. Meh

...every song on my list is deserving and a classic in his catalogue.

Ant Banks - Big Badass tho :fire::fire::fire:

The only time I didn't say hi to a reg here in person was because right before I was about to introduce myself to him he used the "Well if I weren't married, you'd be exactly what I'm looking for" line on my wife's friend to help "wingman" for his friend.

I thought at the time it'd be much more fun to post that story the next Monday. And it was.
I actually saw this chick in whole foods a couple weeks ago (or at least a very close resemblance). I thought of that story and drew a couple looks when I laughed while putting some mixed greens on my plate.

4th grade - Incredible teacher, who inspired me to get into education. Starting forming strong friendships with people I'm still friend's with.

5th grade - One of the best and most carefree years of my life. Had an absolute blast that summer because I knew I'd be moving to NC at the very end of it, so my parents gave me free reign to to everything I wanted with my friends.

9th grade - Freshman year. Going to parties with friends, experimenting with alcohol, playing football on Friday nights in front of a real crowd.

12th grade - Like 5th grade, knew it was my group's last chance to tear things up before we all went off. Second best player on the football team. Dated the hottest girl in school.

All of college.

25 - Right before I got into my last serious relationship. I spent the summer with a buddy traveling all over the Southeast going to different games and concerts. He met his wife shortly after.

28 - Cats win a title, in a "healthy" relationship, still get to see most of my friend's regularly.

30 has been pretty good so far, it has potential to make the list.

Thanks Tommy, let us know if/when you add other years.

No problem.

Hitting Smoque for some brisket before the Bears game tonight and Manny's for corn beef tomorrow before the Cubs game.

Gibson's tomorrow post-Cubs game.

Maybe you should go somewhere besides the same 4 tourist trap places every time.

Learn Chicago tourist traps.

These are local places tucked away in small neighborhoods. Not like I'm eating at the Billy Goat.

One of us grew up here, the other visits Navy Pier when in town.

Lou Malnati's is a chain. Manny's has a location in Midway Airport. Smoque is a BBQ place on TV every other day. Portillo's is a food court in the heart of Downtown.

So yeah, false.

All started as local Chicago joints...

Malnati's started in the suburb next to mine.

Manny's is on the South Side and mostly serviced local politicians.

Smoque is a small joint in Irving Park.

Portillo's is a Chicago staple.

But yeah, they must suck since they are all successful. Stick to your Louisville tapas bars.

NFL Takes (yeah, I know):

- I don't really care, and I HATE agreeing with the sportswriter consensus, but Goodell is such a F'ing trainwreck. He could've saved ALL OF US a lot of trouble by just issuing a firm yet fair one game suspension to Brady. Instead, the stupid MFer has to iron-fist something that's not at all important and go all in for a quarter of the season. And why the hell should Brady hand over his phone to such an incompetent power-starved dbag? It was a minor crime that happens everywhere. It deserves maybe one game. Give him one game. Now, every sports fan has to deal with this ********.

- These dumbass athletes and their charity camps and camps crack me up. If you're really doing something FOR CHARITY, why aren't the millionaires picking up their own $600 plane tickets? Why can't they spring for a rental instead of getting picked up by limo? This is all $$$ that could be going TO THE CHARITY. Only the dumbest, most misguided of SOBs could miss the point and F up a charity. It's all posturing and ********.

- I'm not Fantasy Guy who is in 8 leagues and talks about my team in casual conversations, BUT playing NFL Fantasy makes the season and Sundays 100x more interesting.

- I guess the Bengals could be good if the D is healthy, but I see us disappointing. 7-9, maybe 6-10 and the nail in Dalton's coffin.

Every restaurant used to be awesome, until people found out about it. Now it sucks. Overrated.

Not true, only when they expand from 1 to 42 locations like Lou Malnati's or any other chain. Quality goes down, that's indisputable.

New Orleans is filled with a seemingly infinite # of 'famous' awesome restaurants. If they all opened 40 more locations, you can bet the quality would slip across the board...

I like everywhere I've ever been in Chicago, mainly just like getting Tommy all upset.
