sportswriter was always one of those pie in the sky not really gonna happen dream jobs for me. serious question about this profession = does being a normal looking human being give you a huge leg up on the competition? soft skills, if you will?
because it's amazing how many of these dudes look like trolls. for every sharp dressed adam schefter there's like ten brian windhorsts, peter kings, or john claytons.
just curious in case I change professions. you'd have to imagine it's a big sigh of relief when the editor thinks "shew, thank heavens. one were not embarrassed to eventually put on television."
note: this could be a boon to t-walds career for sure

No doubt. Like I said, there's a market there and I know many disagree. Just a take from the kind of dude who loves the Jim Romes and Bill Simmons and has nothing for the Mike Lupicas out there.
I'm not even a HUGE fan of Outside The Lines, although I occasionally will tune in.
Should have thrown some **** out about Joker and I guarantee he would have become a much angrier dude than you.
I thought it was pretty much understood by all male humans that any and all comments about daughters are off-limits and jokes better off unsaid. Of course, GYERO ignores this.

Great neighborhood and was a really nice/fun course back in its prime. Some really cool holes w/ some severe elevation drives. Such is the nature of golf/courses & country clubs pretty much all over these days, although things do seem to be on the rebound a bit over the past year or two.

Knew him pretty well starting at about 4th grade, we were on the same teeball team. Back then he claimed to be white, by middle school he claimed his dad was black. I never really cared that much either way, and never had any personal problems with the guy. A lot of people didn't like him because he was sort of a smartass, and of course we were in a small town with a lot of closed minds. I don't remember this big fight he claims happened (I know the guy that said he witnessed it and he would have no reason to lie), just knew that Shaun disappeared to another school.
That said, there are a lot of questions about Shaun and how trustworthy he is. Many claims of him raising money for charity that never got distributed, and some of his positions are pretty polarizing (he seems to be on the fringe a lot).
It's been pretty weird to watch though, my facebook feed has been quite a show with so many people voicing their opinion for whichever side they fall on.
Uhhhh, I don't think it's your looks that's going to keep you from being a sportswriter.
The fact you don't know **** about sports is probably going to come in to play.
You could tell them you travel all over the country to run 100 miles on other states pavement.
