WTF are you talking about? Fred was smart as hell. Made good grades and came from a great family. He went to Louisville and played under Schnellenberger and started at wide receiver as a freshman.

Hilarious YOU would call someone mildly retarded. Jesus you are horrible.
He was a good dude and they were a good family. He had some learning difficulties, from what I heard, and UL was letting anybody in back then. Should I have said mildly retarded? Maybe not but that was the way it was phrased back then. Did you go to Calloway?

"He couldn't get into any schools" = "Started WR as a freshman under Howard Schnellenberger"

Same thing, guess you nailed it after all.

Dennis Johnson had a brother Derrick who was a GD bulldog in the trenches but was too dumb to get into college. Shame really. Was a better pass rusher than Dennis.

Also their dad always wanted to get a job in administration at UK but couldn't pass the needed Microsoft Excel course.

Target : Wal Mart :: Starbucks : Dunkin Donuts :: Buffalo Wings and Rings : BW3s

Actually the Texas Roadhouse people are running a national chain to compete with BW's called Bubba's 33.........I think Clarksville is getting one soon.

Mussel Burger Bar going into St. Charles Exchange location, that will be WODIE.

Never get out to the original b/c it's such a terrible/weird location. Hurstbourne Lane is pretty much the worst place in Louisville, imo.

That dude is either getting REALLY rich, or is going to go up in flames, he opens a new restaurant about every 3 months around here...

Dennis is now the head coach at Woodford County. Derrick and Alvis are assistants. Was hoping he'd bring in some former Cats as assistant coaches(Bobby Blizzard, Donnie Redd, etc.), but no dice.

Still amazes me that a place like Leslie Co. produced that dude.

Honestly, for 2A squad, they had a good team back then. It also helped that Mike Whitaker, a damn good QB in his own right at Leslie County, and EKU, was head coach. Bombs away at that point.

My mom was raised in Leslie Co, so when Dunbar played down there in '92, we tied in the game with a week-end visit. Good times.

@FightingIrishChad, my one day coaching contract with the purple hippos ended yesterday. I didn't even have to do too much, some young bloke from across the pond, Alistair, was a special guest instructor who showed the kids some new drills.

So yeah, I will bring Marge for one game and I will make the solo trek at least twice… maybe more.

Do one for me too, Willy. That **** is awful. Thank goodness he masks those little sambos with cheese to make them decent, b/c goetta can get pumped.

What a terrible idea. Hey, let's take some marginal sausage and mix some Quaker Instant Oatmeal & bay leaf in it & then fry it to the consistency of a salmon croquette & eat it for breakfast!! [eyeroll]

Goetta is incredible. Team Willy.

Went to Mussel Burger Bar last night. It was good but their prices are getting up there... $15 for all the burgers. 05 was a huge fan of the corn on the cob.

Tim Hampton- thought this guy would be in the NFL when I was a kid. I don't remember exactly what his issues were (I was 7 when they won state), but he went from getting interest from high D-1 schools, to ending up at EKU. But damn, he was a beast.

Enjoy this video, not only to see what a badass he was (plays DE, 46 yard TD, and kicks the extra point all in a two minute span), but also enjoy Angelo Gazzaroli, the greatest color commentator in history, along with a memory that will give SAE a little angst on a Wednesday morning...

Was always proud of the Owensboro-to-UK who did well- Mark Higgs, Zane Beehn, and Ken Willis (classmate). Bo Smith left UK after a couple of years and ended up having a very short stint in the NFL, too.

It's always been pricey, but the food is the ****. And yeah, the Elote is :fire::fire::fire:

-Exactly, Bristol. It makes Nicholasville Rd seem like a picnic.

SAE, I will gladly throw it in the river & let it float down to Louisville, the home of all of Cincinnati's flushed ****.

Why do you think Pitino has his "healthcare" taken care of in Cincinnati? Because his children always find their way home.

Had my first taste of Elote at a local festival a few weeks back. Tasted okay, but just couldn't get past how messy it was. But it was served to me by real live Mexicans, so I assumed it was the authentic stuff.

Credit the Mornay, bub.

It's a mess, actually prefer it in a bowl, which is how I first had it way back in the day at Las Gorditas Taco Truck here in town

That's how I make it at home after slicing off the charred corn.

Never been the biggest hot brown guy, although mini hot browns as apps are all right.

Which for some reason makes me think of DeShaes and this- why hasn't anything ever really worked at Victorian Square? It's a cool area/building and one synonymous with Lexington, but doesn't seem like anything has ever found a home there.

FWIW, I tweeted out that Goetta is terrible about 10 minutes ago and I'm already trending nationally and my twitter account overheated with favorites and had to be temporarily suspended for maintenance.

Cincy, what a weird place, smh.

That Auburn smack talk is fun but I'd prefer the Tigers to just run them out of the god damn stadium.

Bobby, that smarmy bastard, doesn't need any extra motivation.

That's your problem. You live in an echo chamber, a constant circlejerk. The same people responding to your tweets are the same dickheads on here.

And weird is good. You're one of the weirdest people I know and that's what I like about you.
