Tommy, have you shown the student a picture of you in your cape? I'm guessing that would do it.

Got a good chuckle out of Petrino having to answer questions as part of ACC media days.
One media member asked if he regretted anything about how he left Atlanta. After brushing it off, the follow up question was...."you have anything to say to the Atlanta players that didn't have a very memorable year".
Then somebody asked...."with you playing Auburn this weekend, what was your fascination with them a few years ago".

I love it when jurich can't protect that dumbass.

I don't either, but the option would be nice. And when you consider how much money simply walks across the line to Indiana/Ohio...

Oh well, Kentucky is loaded anyways so it doesn't really matter.
Almost as much that walks across the line to get alcohol in Tennessee. And how many will walk into Ohio and get pot when it passes it November

To whoever asked before, the Barrs are good family friends. Known him since I was a little kid. His parents were at my wedding and I was at his. Stayed with him when I visited UVA. Try to see each other when we make it to UK games.

So I'm completely biased on any political talk with Andy. I don't agree with all his conservative stances but I at least know he is a great person who cares about the state. And Adam hates him, so he can't be all that wacky.

Mag52 running is amusing, but probably all just another attention grab. We'll see I guess.

-Mr Robot. Wow. Hate finale cliffhangers but **** Malek is unreal.

-tents are up on the hill by the student entrance. Just the frames.

Looks like the last of paving was taking place tonight. Pouring sidewalks.

Blue lot peeps will have 2 new rows of grass at the entries of the lot. The strips run the length of the lot at each end zone. Prime spots.

New coverings over the ramps and stairs are huge upgrades. Those ramps were the most unappealing part of the facade.

The marquee actually doesn't look that bad after finale review. Not what I would've done but better than before.

That Southside facade is just sick. Once the practice facility is done the view from the old purple lot will be quite impressive.

-walk next door tonight to have our weekly dinner with the neighbors, some of you all know them and they are oblivious to sports mostly, and there sits Patty Ice at the dinner table. Completely random. Nicest kid ever. Really too nice.

-can't belee the season starts in 3 days. Awesome.

UNC gets...Tony Bradley!

Who will be their highest ranked recruit in a couple years, ranked 30ish.

Words can't express how much I love them going 0-4 for blue chips in 2016's crop in the state of NC.

Looks like everybody is just taking a chance and leaving tents everywhere. Noticed a whole row of them around the Orange lot, another row in the area of trees in the Blue lot, and all around the Green lot. Construction equipment and tent rods just plotted everywhere. The first game will probably be a mess from a tailgate/parking perspective but by Florida this place will be dope.

Rack Anth's point on the view from the purple lot once they finish the practice facility. Going to be impressive

Sloot since you walk 10 miles around the stadium, drop in and catch a tour of our building sometime. You have probably walked by a thousand times and never new it existed. American Cancer Society Hope Lodge - right behind the K House. Would be a good opportunity for the crew to find a way to maybe get involved since we all seem to agree cancer sucks and all. Unlike Transy, I would say hello. Pretty sure you are good friends with AK who just started working in the office.

GAMBOL season starts in 10 hours.

BBdK ain't going to be able to sleep until Saturday late night. Learn BBdK.

Not sure I even slept a full consecutive hour last night, saw every 1st number on the clock.

I need some kind of drug to take for anticipated events, Melatonin just doesn't cut it in those instances. Ugh

Lol @ AK. Was wondering what she actually did...her brother (Killa) couldn't even tell me at the Eli when I inquired, he had no clue.

Per SnapChat, her job duties are playing with her puppy, horses, golf scrambles, and attending outings/happy hours all day/evening, daily.

Sweet gig imo.

He was a good dude and they were a good family. He had some learning difficulties, from what I heard, and UL was letting anybody in back then. Should I have said mildly retarded? Maybe not but that was the way it was phrased back then. Did you go to Calloway?

Oh I see, so it was something you HEARD so you decided to post it here as fact. What if we heard you liked disabled Mexican guys 18 inch wide kack, could we all run and post it as fact and just **** all over your character with out first hand account ? Oh wait, your rebuttal too late, we all ready know the answer. I HEARD you was a benchwarmer, so as I expected, you didn't PLAY against Pookie, your team did.

BBDK, yeah Blake originally signed with UL, decided against it and came here. He worked for me for 2 summers in detail dept. Coach Elson absolutely shocked the **** out of me when I found out he would not be playing his SR. year because of grades. Super nice kid, he and Hayden the starting RB was really fun to talk **** with during down time. We know he DID play D1 (as have many kids from our side of the state), and actually had a training camp invite with the Eagles, Rams and another team I can't remember.

Artose Pinner was a horrible WKY kid and was never a D1 player either. I do not know why any UK coach would leave the right side of the state and even look at guys from Hoptown, Paducah, Henderson, Madisonville. Never been 1 player worth a damn from our area.

Atlanta traffic is supposed to be a cluster today - Falcons, GaTech, Joe Biden and Comicon. I will be lucky to get home to see the end of the Arizona game...
Though I'm always excited for the start of football season, this year's anticipation ranks right up there with 1997's.

My opening game shirt.

Super Sweet! :pimp:

Glad to see that the Kentucky Mountain Lions that Rob says don't exist are becoming nationally recognized.

Should be on our helmets. Maybe an orange alternative version to represent the sunset in the mountains.

Start of college football season > start of college basketball season.

I think it's largely because it's a sign that autumn is right around the corner. Plus, it's the merciful end to several months making due with only baseball and golf. We're good from now until April, when the Masters signals the beginning of the long sports drought. I've also grown to slightly prefer college football to college basketball. I love college basketball, but being a UK basketball fan is damn stressful. I have such high expectations that I'm a nervous wreck half the season. I wouldn't trade it for anything, but it's exhausting. Good problem to have.

I am so happy i play golf and LOVE watching golf because for me this break is never bad.

Driving tip: I'm sitting at the light in the Lansdowne shoppes waiting to turn right. I look left and see no one is in the right lane coming towards me, so that means im probably going to pull out slowly and go on my merry way. I do see a car in the left lane 150 yards out. But that's not a problem, right? Because they are in the left lane and i will pull out cautiously and try to even stay a little right to not bother them so they won't think im coming over into their lane. This is NOT the time for you to switch from the left lane to the right lane. Switch well before the intersection or after the intersection, you should NOT be coming across a lane at a 4 way light from the right to the left lane. This is dangerous and could seriously hurt someone.

The 'Puma' ([eyeroll]) everyone makes fun of Looks exactly like the Kentucky Wildcat Statue that's on Avenue of Champions.

Amazingly, Wildcats don't really look like this: (thank goodness)
