Ramsey is obviously the worst in a long line of dorks over there, but guys like UofLSherrif (mercy, what a name) and RU4UofL are almost like made up characters. Like not real people at all and UK fans created their online presence as a joke.

RU4UofL is most certainly real. Everyone in his family are UK fans. All of the people he grew up with were UK fans. He just wanted to be different. And he is very loud and very obnoxious. I've been fighting with him for 20 years about UK/UL stuff. After UK beat UL in 2014 he defriended every UK fan on Facebook. He does not know my twitter handle so I love to randomly troll him.

Is UofLSherrif the clown who blamed the loss at Clemson last year on a helicopter flying overhead during Louisville huddles?

If she really wanted to lie, why the hell would she give a pass to so many guys? She claimed Russ Smith didn't do anything, Siva just took pics, etc. If she really was making the whole thing up, why not go even bigger?

Yup, and the missed field goal this year against Clemson was clearly made based on the dozen TV screen captures he posted online

the blind see-no-evil-hear-no-evil-speak-no-evil folks on their side like Ramsey & Rutherford & Deener are doing far more damage to their fanbase by stoking them with false hopes that every aspect of this story is completely imagined without a shred of truth too it, and not one single negative outcome for UL athletics will result. there arent many rational folks outside of Valvano or Eaves patiently explaining "this is bad, you should accept that it is bad".

The time frame when this all supposedly started for UofL is fantastic . It says that Cal is such a good recruiter that he drove his arch rival into hiring pros for recruits just to try and keep up. That makes me feel warm inside

anyone else gonna drop a "throw brer rabbit in a briar patch" blast today, or just showkilla?

k. thanks.

[laughing] (I had to google that, btw)

-Been over Kindly for a few years now...have her blocked on everything but SnapChat these days, which I've been meaning to do. May have to wait until next week. Basically one long softcore porn music video with her down in Dominican (GOFUNDME) or wherever. Shew.

^I don't understand the Kindly thing. For the record I do not have her blocked. What a dumb take. She's still smoke. I'm not sure I've ever read a word she's typed but I don't understand getting pissy about a smoking hot blonde barely covered in a UK bikini popping up on your feed a couple times a week. Is your twitter feed that good that you can't clutter it with this

The old Brer Rabbit cartoons were an unfortunate casualty of Disney's decision to disappear anything related to "Song of the South." I loved them. "DON'T GIT YO HANDS STUCK IN DAT DERE TAR BABBY, BRER RABBIT."

They're just wired differently over there. Pretty strange place. I'd like to think that if the shoe were on the other foot and the last three Louisville coaching sex scandals had happened to Kentucky's coaches, the reaction would be different. Everything would be different. For one, Kentucky has had an adversarial relationship with local media since I can remember, so they'd be digging everywhere they could to corroborate the whores' story rather than the coaches'.

But I'd also like to believe that our fan base has more of those types of fans like the old guard Louisville fan 73 was talking about the other day that are more likely to reach a breaking point with this stuff as the evidence begins to mount.

This is apples to dog turds when it comes to content, but when the crap started mounting up over here in '89, at some point did the fans do a collective "Man, to hell with this", or did they deny, deny, deny until the bitter end?

This just happened on my COMPANY email (not smart), from an adjuster & long-time employee:

Hi Adrian!

I wanted to invite you to my fiance’s Bros, Brews, and Brains event next Wed Oct 14th for some drinks and appetizers while we share some info about Nerium. I know it sounds sooo corny but it’s actually really incredible. It’s more than skin care, it’s anti-aging and it’s recently expanded to encompass brain health with a patented supplement discovered by Dr. Stock at Princeton University. So you should come…it’s really a guy only thing (I’ve invited a lot of agents) but I’ll be there just to make sure they can answer all the questions J

Anyway, Wed Oct 14th at 7pm, 17304 Polo Fields Ln. Even if you could care less about anti-aging, you may know someone our products or business could really help. Bring as many friends as you’d like and I look forward to seeing you there!

Her man is doing this? [sick]

They're pretty disgusted by the whole thing UCL. The UofL fans I know are lifers, and pretty much like us. These guys watched football games in the old drafty Cardinal Stadium...love Denny Crum, etc. They like that UofL is succeeding now, but they also get turned off by all of the scandal and money. They're not changing they're allegiance...as we wouldn't. But it's hard for them to fathom that this even was a possibility.

It's one thing to see players driving around in a nice car...happens everywhere. Cheatapari! Corrupt Arena!! That's all fun stuff. But hanging out with and coaches paying for 7th Street hookers? That's just a bit over the top on the scandal side.

That's what I don't get. Coaches out partying with the athletes. That's a big time no-no I would assume and over that period of time Pitino would have known it was going on. Hell it was at little old Bellarmine. Had a good buddy on the baseball team graduate and take a job on the team and couldn't go out with his boys that were just a year younger b/c he wasn't allowed to drink or party with them. If that's the case at Bellarmine, barely above a High School, I'd assume that's the case at UL or UK.

Really sounds like more of a case of McGee being hooked on escorts than an actual recruiting tool.

Yep... I get to look at demonic figures lit with green lights out of my living room for the next month during the evenings and tombstones with the names BERRY M. DEEP, ROBYN GRAVES, and R.U. NEXT during the day.

Christ.

Same, except they also play a Thriller/Chainsaw/Scary Noise soundtrack on repeat....24 hours a day, for a month. :fire:

Suppose that comes with the territory in Buechel & Beechmont.

-I've heard plenty of non-Ramsey takes from UL fans on the radio, sick and tired of this. Pretty sizable faction still in denial but I think the group that's tired of this **** is much more prevalent. Probably just not very vocal b/c they're embarrassed.

-Terry Mieners is all in on exposing her though. Even bringing up Cady's sketchy past. [laughing] Doesn't want to lose his in with the boys club.

I have no problem saying if this stuff was going on at UK I'd be pretty done- especially spending money on the stuff. Similar to when the Bengals were getting arrested all the time. At some point it's ridiculous and pretty unseemly- plus it's not like they're lighting it up on the field/court and buying goodwill that way.

Tuesday Shorts:

- I've been done with Kindly ever since I found out her name is pronounced with a long "i." WTF?

- What is the % of females who remained friends after being roommates? 20%? Is that too high?

- Waiting on Forde's "Pitino, you made your bed" column.

- Wetzel, unsurprisingly, is terrific on podcast. Piss on Forde, though.

- Harbaugh has to be considered in Meyer/Saban territory, right? Have to admit- looking forward to their games against Michigan State and Ohio State this year.

- Michael Bennett on why he hates Mathew Stafford:

“He’s from Dallas. They killed President Kennedy. I hold that against him.”

[laughing]

- Michigan State looking strong for Josh Jackson, along with Arizona. Wonder how Izzo would handle these OADs? It's not as easy as Calipari makes it look.

- Pumpkin patch this weekend. [banana] Actually love that kind of stuff. Be outside. Corn maze. Bluegrass music.

Mega fight and season-long childish antics were pretty wodie too.

-Josh Jackson seems a terrible fit for Izzo.
