Ramon had the strongest bricks in history. He's in the Brick Hall of Fame. If you wanted to cause a jump ball, have Ramon shoot a line drive three, because that son of a ***** is bouncing 50 feet up in the air.

If I'm not mistaken he wanted to, but Clyde told him not to. That should've tipped everyone off immediately. Cal meanwhile was holed up in his house making sure Cousins was for sure coming with him. That's how men play.

Tubby losing then finding the Randolph Morris fax actually endeared him to me. I remember thinking to myself "Max, finally Tubby gets it" because that story was so ridiculous and FOS it was clear he was at the point where he was gonna start cutting corners and cheating and I'm sorry/not sorry but that was exciting to me.

So I'm team #ohheylookafaxIhappenedtofindlol

Pretty sure Tubby would have landed Miller.

Doubtful.

I remember talking to a prominent UK media member (name rhymes with "Harry Brought") the summer of 2007, after Miller committed to UK. I asked this media member (from a town that rhymes with "Manville") if Miller would've come to UK had Tubby not left. He said, and I quote "everybody knows Tubby is lazy. He wouldn't even drive to Maysville to see him."

The coachtimmiller mocks were the best thing about the BCG era.

Never heard of him per Mags.

KC have big game last nite for Galatasorry C team in Turk. only 6 pppg but work hard to get teammate involved. Almost mess around and git triple dubble. Drive dish kik rebounding. Solid completely game. Most importantly team leaders. Not self first.

Tubby was done when he backed Sheray off the free throw line in the Miss State game in the SEC tourney :chairshot:

Still remember Donna's face after the dude from Miss State drained a NBA three to send it to overtime. Had pack my bags written all over it.

Tubby might or might not have landed Miller, but he damn sure wouldn't have been able to cure his acute case of *****-itis.

By the way, does anyone remember when Pitino said if we fired Gillispie it would set the program back ten years? Little did we know that's when a young lady by the name of Katina Powell was meeting a man at a barbershop about some shows for the University of Louisville.

Time can be a *****, huh?

Congrats to deplion and the message board gang known as the LOD for firing tubby those guys changed wildcat history!

^my earliest cat paw memory and learning people who posted on message boards were generally morons which led me to read GYERO.

I think the company changed their product or model, but did anyone save any of the Xtranormal (think that was the product) animations that were done that were supposed to simulate some of the Tubby/Mitch and maybe BCG conversations?

Between the animations and the auto-generated monotone audio... [roll]

I'm guessing the fact Memphis had just rag dolled UK in Maui and the realization that Memphis looked more like Kentucky than Kentucky did was a fuel to that. MUST BE CHEATING!

Wife and I were sitting on the floor beside UK's second-half basket for that game against Memphis. That was the moment that I officially exited the OTS bandwagon.

Who was the *clown* strength & conditioning coach that Tubby hired that was a former boxer that WE ALL went batshit crazy for? Was going to us into physical specimens but didn't change **** and left after one year

Edit:
Scott Holsopple

Great memories GYERO. Keep it up! [thumb2]
The mod email chain during the 30-minute window where it was possible that Lorenzo Romar would be UK's coach.

Also, the mod email chain during the first 30 minutes where it was looking like it could be Cal. YouKay: TYREKE EVANS WAS AN ACCESSORY TO MURDER

Good times, great memories.

YouKay stated she would quit being a UK FOREVER, point blank period, if we hired Cal.

-Also, my favorite memory of the BCG era was the press conference he called at Griffin Gate the next morning after being fired. I mean, he was visibly hungover and as defiant as ever. Surreal, really.

Also, all of the near fights he got into in and around Lexington bars after the firing were pretty awesome to hear about. Clyde was a certified rascal.

He was wearing the same shirt from the night before. Called his own PC. What a hopeless feeling we had for 5 years. Geez.

This is why UK fans get what's happening in Louisville and UL fan is still hoping for a way out. Most of those idiots don't remember or choose to ignore the late 90's. Young fan base with no war wounds.
