conway twitty is one of the most successful artists of all time -- in country or any other genre. held a record (40) for most #1 hits until george strait came along. also had success in multiple genres, including pop, rock, and r&b.

do a quick google image search of this dude. then, by all means, please continue to explain how modern country isn't "country."

maybe it NEVER was.

"White People Music" is probably the best nomenclature for the entire genre.

Imagine AA's arguing what's R&B and what's soul music. Pretty much what we're doing here.

Speaking of that, Southwest Tip -----> if you're ever making a last minute booking/change to a popular destination, chances are the 'Wanna Get Away' fares are sold out.

Tried to change my outgoing flight from Saturday to tomorrow, and the price I'd booked at originally ($170) was gone...the only available fare was the 'Anytime' far at $600 for one way.

...so booked to Phoenix instead (through Vegas), which still had the same fare available. Exact same plane as the direct flight to Vegas, just skip the next leg & enjoy. Of course, you won't be able to check a bag doing that, but it's a wodie little trick that works fairly often if you don't see the fare you want in a last minute situation.

Don't try this on United. I did the same thing, booked a flight to Milwaukee through O'Hare because it was cheaper than flying to O'Hare direct...they canceled my return flight and tried to hit me with a bunch of penalties.

Watched the Stapleton & Timberlake performance. Would've enjoyed it more with Stapleton himself doing his thing solo minus the JT brah.

Get that Timberlake is a very talented artist or whatever but stay in your lane. His twitchy facial expressions and herky/jerky bouncy motions were trying way too hard and did not compliment the old school soul sound of Stapleton well at all.

Sounds like this UGA thing is going to blow up today. Pruitt may have been in some type of altercation. Richt is praying and unavailable for comment.

jt is a hugely successful, talented, handsome white dude with soul. your criticisms are unfounded. the more crooners we have in today's pop genre the better, imo.

bbdks traveling exploits just highlight what a novice he is. other revelations in his recent adventures include:

* if you slip the mexican bartender a ten, he'll pour stronger drinks
* veteran move = hop in a cab, and ask to be taken to a restaurant where only locals go
* if you are flying in military uniform, you may get upgraded to first class
* on southwest, they don't always take your drink ticket. cha-ching!!
* the housekeeping staff is exceptionally talented. they can fold your nut rag into an elephant
* typical flight attendants are very serious, but their counterparts on southwest are frequently very silly

I thought the collaboration was pretty good but I didn't think it was worth near the hubbub on the social medias. JT is a f*cking badass but his voice doesn't work with country. I did enjoy Stapleton. Good for him, seems like he's been battling for 20 years.

It's pretty much the most celebrated performance of all time at this point, it seems.

Apparently we now lead in the Crystal Ball for Jarrett Allen. What a weird recruitment. Guess he's in town this weekend though. I'd love that pick up.

You definitely want him, but at the same time I don't think he will be the superstar/impact player he should have been. He won't have played competitive, organized basketball since summer 2015 AAU and his conditioning will probably be ****. By March he'd sure as hell come in handy though.

Don't lie. You're all getting a little intrigued. UK vs UGa competing over who can have the most dysfunctional week leading up to a game that might set football back 30 years.

Giles has Derek Anderson knees I guess. Still would be a great get and coming to UK may help his draft stock which must be plummeting.
