I'm all in on Calipari going public in late January or so that he has been all wrong WOW! on how he's used Poythress and that he should have been using him like Draymond Green on the Warriors this whole time. If I had, Alex would have been on the NBA All-Star team by now. WOW!

Let him play the 5 with Willis at the 4 for 5 minutes or so a game with the 3 guard lineup and run helter skelter.

Considering the quick work Cal has done with Cousins, Harrellson, Davis, Noel and Towns, I think he'll get Skal where he needs to be too. Will be a long process, though. Remember Towns wasn't Towns until February.

Cal should've taken Bryant or Bragg, though.

Yep. First game. Going to take awhile for Skal to become a consistent force against high quality competition. But based on Cal's past it will happen.

I'm cool with Alex being a BMF this season and tossing people around. We haven't had someone with real attitude since Magliore.

Game was decent. Tough to judge. No Briscoe, terrible officiating, a tough mid-major opponent. That effort would be a loss against Duke, but lots to like. Young, still figuring it out. Team will take some serious lumps, but could be pretty badass by March.

-Big props to Willis. Looked great all night, even defensively.

-Murray. Dude has some edge, swagger. Love it. He was instigating the first technical scrum, not backing down. Wiggins would have started crying.

-Lots of stupid mental mistakes. As would be expected.

-Our defensive rebounding still a major weakness. Didn't check the box score, but seemed like they got about 20 Offensive rebounds. Need to fix that ****.

-Skal probably going to be alternatingly infuriating and amazing this year. IF he progresses like Noel, Towns, Davis, etc, he'll be a beast.

-Wisconsin loses opener to a nobody. Good. Touch you, entire state of Wisconsin.

Pump the brakes a bit, bub. It was the first game of the season. Grief. To quote my friend anth, "he'll be fine".

Murray/Evan Turner comp hit me last night out of nowhere. Speaking of comps, TJ Walker threw out Fox as a faster Brandon Knight and I almost hurt myself rolling my eyes. Bless his heart.

Was that UK vs UL game in Rupp. Pitino had his players intentionally trying to start crap in the layup lines pregame. Jerry Smith was trolling Cousins and threw his shoulder into Cousins when the teams ran past each other to the lockerooms.

The pregame and first 10 minutes of the 1st half were very chippy to say the least.

Cal was giving the biz to Reginal Delk during that dead ball when he took Bledsoe out to calm him down. Think he told him Eric would meet him in the back lot or something and you'd regret it. Awesome.

Yup.

And after the game Cousins took Oscar Combs aside and told him that he'd always be a wildcat at heart and he hoped that the BBN would vote accordingly if ever on a grand jury to indict Demarcus for trying to intentionally decapitate Swopshire.

UL at home, squeaks past a terrrrrrrible UVA team, basically due to one special teams dickfingering late in the game.

We might suck, but we definitely have a legit shot against UL.

All three of Towles incompletions weren't on him. Timmons should literally wear gloves that look like dicks.

That is some gawd damn pathetic redzone offense. Pathetic. 1st and goal from the .5 yeard line. Lose a yard. Throw to no one because your receiver is a puss and your QB has no backup plan. Stoned, stoned. Awful.
