Oh there's a whole bunch of **** that you can point to. Don't kid yourselves... Not getting any points at 1st and goal at the .5 yard line made me want to throw my remote at the television. We have so many damn problems it's crazy. And we are regressing as the year goes on. Great stuff.

And if this was 1940, they'd clip them all. And there'd be nothing we could do about it...But it is what it is ya know...just like Bugsy..they invested millions and well

At home, kids in bed, brown water on ice. Marcus vent...

*Today broke my faith in our staff. Up to this point, I was willing to give some leeway. After all, you would think a group that came in with such an organized plan/vision for recruiting (that has largely worked by the way) would show the same on the field, or at least figure things out quickly. But it hasn't been that way at all. We look largely uncoordinated, sloppy, and I see no identity game to game...on either side of the ball.

*The handling of the QB situation is a microcosm of the bigger issue. We hear the QB's are dead even and Pat edges out Drew as the starter. Barker gets promised PT in several games publicly and doesn't get in. They "open" the competition this week and it leaks to the media on Wednesday (after one whole day of practice) that Pat is starting. Then Barker gets in, tosses one TD and one Int, which is a lot better than Pats TD/Int ratio by the way, and gets yanked. I'm not even making so much a QB argument as a credibility argument with the staff. Both with fans and the team. All these older guys are getting pulled for not performing in favor of a youth movement but Pat is left out there. I'll say it, I believe we win that game if they stick with Barker.

As far as the sport we are good at...

*Skal is going to progress at a quick clip. The puppies on that kid are set off the bus and the touch, wow. He's going to be a shot blocking force as well.

*Kind of like last year where it didn't matter so much if one big had an off night we had such depth someone else would step up...that's how it is with guard this year. Murray having an off night? How about a double double from our frosh PG fresh off of injury?

*Calling my shot...barring injury to our top 8, we lose 5 or less and win it all. Best backcourt in the nation and no one out there good enough to expose our thin front court. I would not say that last year.

I mean, I've watched the Bengals my whole life. I have vivid, horrible memories of the 90s Bengals. And I've never guffawed/punched my own balls like I have while watching this last month of football tomfoolery. There's just base level screw ups- stuff that should be walk through stuff in spring camp.

Agree with killa, up until today I was set on the staff and blaming the players for all the dickfoolery...but not anymore.

You pull Towles and play Barker, then pull Barker. There was a noticeable decisiveness with the football. Team drew.

Two games. Then time to come to Jesus.

*How can you blame anyone that is questioning this staff? We're really close to being Ofer or at least 1-9 with home loses to EKU and LouLa. We've regressed heavily 2 years in row. We can't get people on and off the field. We're heavily penalized. Special teams suck. Mitch told me when Stoops took over the indicator of a good coach is penalties and special teams. WELP. I'm just at a loss. So frustrating and disheartening. How anyone can have faith in this staff is unreal. I think Dawson has to go. TS. Vandy scores on a pick6, fumble, trick play. No sustained long hard drives. We can't score on 2 possessions inside the 3 and iced our own kicker. Lol.

-at the skal doubters. He's going to struggle occasionally and on d a lot but dude is silky.

-Zay!! Wow. Not expecting him to be like this but it's a big deal. Essentially a gritty lunch pale garbage man. Love it.

-We are gonna be good. Lee finding his role. Willis. Alex. Shew.

Wife left at 9am to go shopping with her mother. She just walked in. I went to the basketball game, for a drink after and still beat her home.

Leach with another big win. Gets the KO with 1:09 left down three, in the Rose Bowl, and drives it down for the game winning TD.

12.5 point dog winning on the road.........can't be done here though. Pullman has such a recruiting advantage over Lexington.

Well 5-7 is what I predicted in August. What do I win? Where's my UK football prize? Is Adam's neighbor kid delivering it to me a large yard waste bag later today?

If what UKErik posted about Stoops' contract is true, then we have two more years with him regardless of how ****** the team is. There's no way we can afford to buyout that entire contract. It would be cheaper to suffer through a bunch of sub 40,000 home crowds for a season than eat that thing. What a horrible, horrible one-sided **** deal. You can give Calipari that deal. You can't give that deal to a guy who has never been a head coach before walking into the coaching graveyard of Kentucky football.

Pro Tip: Next time we hire a coach that no one had on their coaching wish list with absolutely no head coaching experience, take the wait and see approach. Don't go all in Billy Gillispie style from the jump.

There's absolutely zero chance this recruiting class doesn't fall apart. It will settle in somewhere around 40-50 nationally, about where we have historically recruited. Signing Day Surprise...

This can still be turned around and we can be turned back into a mediocre football program, but it's increasingly unlikely. It's not that they lose, it's how they lose. Any hope of anything beyond 5-7, 6-6, 6-6, 5-7, 7-5 should probably lead to you seeking a mental health professional for the person who harbors that hope.

At any rate, we play Duke on Tuesday and Wright State on Friday. Two nationally televised, prime-time games including one against our biggest current rival for supremacy in college basketball. I think I'm done exhausting any more energy on football this year.

So ronda Rousey got KTFO tonight. Wonder if she plays football too.

I heard a commercial this week hyping her up as not a once in a lifetime athlete but a "once ever" athlete. I just rolled my eyes. She was successful in a sport that statistically pretty much no other women were trained for. Once there was actual money to be made, more elite female athletes would start focusing on it and she'd fall back to the pack. Just figured she'd last another year or two while the competition caught up.

The Buster Douglas defeat of Mike Tyson was much more shocking as far as fight upsets go. But since it happened yesterday, the Holm "upset" will probably get all the pub...BIGGEST UPSET EVER!!! (ok Dana White ) Actually Holm had a pretty solid background, and should've been hyped more. The Douglas thing came out of nowhere, though Tyson was doing the Rocky III first Clubber Lang fight training routine and married crazy Robin Givens.

I think it's genuinely questionable now whether this staff has a clue what it's doing. The coaching has gotten progressively worse with each game.

Those guys coaching big time college football is the equivalent of me trying to perform a kidney transplant. It looks completely improvised, foolish, and the end result will cause people to die.

After having almost 3 years to figure it out I'd be more confident in you getting a kidney transplant surgery right than I would this staffs ability to manage a damn full 60 minutes of football.

I can't even imagine turning on 630 this morning. Between Berger not being able to put 2 sentences together, Anthony White rambling on about how when he played, and Larry Vaught acting like if they just had more kids from Danville we would be 10-0, plus John Short calling in, it would be unbearable this morning.

That guy is a complete f'n douchebag (and I don't follow him, someone RT'd it) but that comment from Eliot about "football stuff that you wouldn't understand" is straight from the Gillispie playbook.

Honest question: did the football coaches start doing coke about 6 weeks ago or something? Is Shannon Dawson that big an idiot?

For the first two years and (arguably) the first few games this year you could objectively look at this team and think "Yup, that's a competently coached and managed flock of guys who by and large have no business playing in the SEC. Give the coach some time and they might amount to something."

The last month or so, however, it's been a dumpster fire of sheer incompetence that is just glaring at this point.

What happened?

Seriously, what happened?

* I love the Ulis, Briscoe, and Murray combo. Absolutely love it. We will have defensive limitations with them and we don't appear to have the interior defense to not worry about it, but I don't care. That's just a damn enjoyable trio to watch.

* Skal has all of the talent in the world but he is currently awful on the defensive end. I expect that Kenny Payne and Hall of Fame Coach John Vincent Calipari will get him sorted out quickly.

Marcus Lee is going to get a lot of minutes until Skal gets **** right and Poythress gets to where he should be.

* Derek Willis. Where is this coming from? He's actually decent thus far.

* Mulder and whatever that walk-on from Pittsburgh's name is had basically the same minutes. I'd get to work on that Mychal.
