And call me crazy but I think there's a better than decent shot that Skal improves a little bit between now and March.

Yeah, no doubt he'll improve, I just hope part of that improvement is him getting a little tougher around the basket. B/c let's face it, the level of physicality he's playing with right now isn't going to cut it. We're talking Patrick Towles brushing his hair, while dressed as Harry Potter level toughness here.

Kansas is pretty loaded with really college basketball players. They're a legit 10 deep if they need to be.

Yep. Like about everyone they have, but don't love anyone.

Tight one on the Deuce between Maryland-Georgetown...

Duke didn't have a chance to flop. We didn't really run any post offense, and we torched them in transition and getting to the rim. Their rotations were ****.

Hey man, STFU. We just beat Duke rather easily on a neutral court. Take that over the top, drama queen ***** fest somewhere else. It's not cute. It's not clever. It's not warranted.

I didn't mean like flops on charges and whatnot....more like flailing arms, head jerks (Allen tried a couple times), atkot.

Was also really expecting >3 leg kicks/falls on 3 point attempts, too. Didn't see one.

Have we had a better PG, for the college game, than Ulis in our lifetime? The game is always under control with the ball in his hands. I could watch that kid play for days.

Oh, sure, Kentucky won 38 in a row last season, and it reached the Final Four in both 2014 and 2015. But remember the player Calipari had to give the ball before each of those games, hoping more than trusting his faith would be rewarded.

In Andrew Harrison’s place now are three point guards Calipari can believe in.

Damn Mike. Didn't see that coming. It's true, but surprised to read it coming from DeCourcy.

The swaggiest play of the night occurred during halftime when TMFS was seen shaking the hand of WWW for like 10 seconds. It was a powerful meeting of the hands. Very spirited and timely greeting.

Because if it came from DeCourcy, it really came from Cal.

We just beat a mediocre Duke team in November. Stop the season and give us the trophy now. LMAO..

Look, I like this team. No, ******** it, I love this team... but it has a weakness. A huge one. And unfortunately, my fondness for this team isn't enough for me to ignore such a weakness. I wish I could. Believe me, I do. And part of me knows you're right. I should pretend as though our lack of physicality isn't that big of a deal, and focus only on the positive aspects of this team. There's so many things good about this team. Ulis, Murray, etc, etc. And hell, it's still only November. A lot of meaningless games to go before March.... but like I said, I can't. Sorry not sorry.

If you can't take a couple of hours and celebrate beating Duke, maybe you should consider not following the sport. I'm not exactly sure what joy you're getting out it.

Not one person in here thinks this team is flawless. Of course they have plenty. But these guys are fun to watch, and it'll be a blast watching them improve. No one thinks we're going undefeated, but I think most are very happy with where we are at as a whole right now.

Picking tonight to be a negative ***** says a lot more about you than it does anything else.

So hush then. Duke was mediocre because our dudes made them look like that.

Here's a GYERO basketball season pointer for free. If I'm not complaining about a game, you probably shouldn't, and if you do, you're a "stop having fun" turd. And I'm basically Grandpa Art from Christmas Vacation.

I insist, enjoy this one. At least try to for 24 hours.

Go get pumped and enjoy the god damned ride. We just beat Duke by double digits. Now is not the time for concern and hand wringing. Did you need to see us totally annihilate a top 5 team to not be worried?

We lost our top 7 scorers from last year and only returned 16ppg and someone is going to complain after a performance like that?

It's obvious duke will be better in March you mouth breather. So will Skal et al. We are an advanced basketball team in November that EXECUTES well and that is scary. Learn cal teams. Enjoy this win, program deserves it.

You see, I don't think I'm being negative. Since when is expressing concern about a weakness being negative? It's not like I'm creating a fictional problem just to diminish our victory. This is a real problem for this team going forward. It allowed Duke to keep the game close. It was the inspiration for Cal's halftime rant and will be the reason he doesn't sleep well tonight. But hey, I get it. We whistle past graveyards here in GYERO. You'll have to excuse me, I tend to watch games and comment on the thing that sticks out the most to me. And tonight, our lack of physicality stuck out more than anything else.

The sight of the also ran Plumlee going ham had quite a negative effect on me.. My mood may have suffered as a result. I hope some of you understand....the rest of you can EAD.

Sparty looks really good. Normally don't look good early.

- Wouldn't surprise me if Valentine notches 2-3 more triple doubles.

* Wow. Or, in my best Cal voice, "Woooooow!". That was as fun a win as it gets in November. Other than effing Plumlee dominating us early inside, we kicked Duke's *** all over the court.

* I do a large amount of family law. I am actively working out a plan to adopt Tyler Ulis as my first born son. Love that kid.

* Looking at the box score, I was surprised to see that Humpries only played 12 minutes. It felt like more. I was very pleased with the big Aussie's play. He stepped up and provided a good interior presence in a crunch.

Also, will Ulis and Murray log the most minutes together of any backcourt in UK history? Ulis is approaching Bobby Hurley status where you just play him as much as possible. Can they both go 40 minutes every night? That's a semi-serious question. Obviously that won't happen against Podunk U but those two better eat their wheaties in March and April. They both may average 38 minutes for the last two months of the season.

* Speaking of the boxscore, what the hell happened to UKAthletics.com? They have some funky upgrade and the boxscore is all screwed up. Just give me a damn box score in a simple format, dammit.

* BRISCOE! He's got some Khalid El-Amin in him, except he's in shape and not a midget.

I love the three guard look and he is surprisingly effective in the interior thus far.

* I like my team.
