Gainesville or Palo Alto. My WAG --> Gainesville. Nothing on the line but pride, but a great atmosphere and good weather.

With that wind we really didn't get to see anything from Barker. However when he did drop back he had no time. Really pathetic how awful our pass blocking is against the worst team in D1A.

Watched online last night - first time I've seen Barker play
He seems quicker and more decisive then Towles

Hope he tears it up next week -- UK was projected to the "Birmingham Bowl: against NC State before the Vandy game

WRs support Barker and go half assed when Towles is playing.

Already terrible OL support Towles and go half assed when Barker is playing.

Towles plays like someone who's putting up a huge front of confidence but is shaky and uncertain as all get out underneath that

I guess were at the 'ride him boom or bust' stage with Barker now for the remainder of the season ---

I haven't watched UL since last year so I have no idea what they're bringing to the table - obviously their record isn't as good as it has been but Patrino always seems to be one step ahead of UK's defense,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I guess that's not saying much

Good seeing Hatcher play last night -- hope he decrapitates someone from UL before that game is over

It'll probably be a shootout like last year

Get used to this scenario... 3rd and 6 and we give up 15+ on a simple 5 yard catch and run route across the middle. Defense cant get off the field, and who knows what we get from the offense.

I hope Dawson figures out what coaches have been doing for years when they have a subpar OL, and that is put the QB under center and use multiple TE packages to assist in blocking!

As groundbreaking as that is it would also get Conrad more involved in the middle of the field and hold some LBers.

For the genius that he is he also really overlooks some of the most basic strategy football can offer.

Last night was a hoot. Decided to say eff it once the snow started coming down sideways at the start of the 2nd half. No thanks.

Tough to get a read on Barker because of the elements hampering the passing game but offensive line is abysmal. Have to run the ball next week to keep the dogs at bay otherwise we're toast..

HOW MANY NEGATIVE OFFENSIVE PLAYS DID WE HAVE LAST NIGHT? Had to have been at least 10 right? How is that possible against such a ****** team like that? Unbelievable.

Yea but if those negative plays worked we're all sitting here talking about how much of a genius Dawson is so it goes both ways.

UofL's strength is their defense, but they're giving up a lot of points to very average ACC offenses. The only thing giving me hope.

Public schools should end their football programs because of the high prevalence of concussions. Five to twenty percent of students experience at least one concussion in a season of play. Nine to twelve year old players experience an average of 240 head impacts per season; high school players average 650 head impacts per season. An initial football concussion increases the risk of a subsequent concussion three or four fold not simply for the balance of that season but for the following season as well. Catastrophic brain injuries, though rare, are far more common in high school and college players who have experienced a previous non-catastrophic concussion.

The brains of children are more susceptible to long-term damage from concussion than adults. Although the frequency of concussion in football is about the same as in hockey, fifty times as many students play football than hockey; football causes far more brain injuries. The brain is an irreplaceable organ, the health of which is foundational for the ability to learn, socialize and for fully realizing life’s physical and vocational opportunities.

Wonder how many elementary, middle, and high school students suffer severe or catastrophic injuries from vehicle accidents?

Any black friday deal watching folks and TV savants, feel free to link me to any good deals on something >50".

We're upgrading to a king sized bed...anyone with really good/bad experiences with specific brands? We currently have a tempurpedic-like queen, but wife has back issues and needs a firmer bed. And the dog basically sleeps on top of us so hoping a king gives us a little more room.

What's your budget for the TV c_b? And are you talking up to 75" or prefer smaller?

I waited until this past spring to get a tv due to finishing the basement. Was aiming for 50-60 in. Turns out that Best Buy apparently runs sales around the March timeframe to move out previous inventory, so I got a 65 in Samsung for $1200 that had been listed for $2100. The discount was due to it being the 2014 model instead of 2015. So if you're not in a hurry, it might be worth holding off.

Gabriel apparently going off...everyone is raving about his defense and wing skills at 6'10.

And he's probably the fourth best player in our class...

Think Btodd can hook you up.

Upgrading to a King definitely a good move. I'd go into a store and figure out what specs you like, then go order it online. They try to make it very difficult, because the same exact mattress will have a bunch of different names depending on who is selling it so that it's really hard to compare and stores can claim they have exclusive stock. It's all ********. Mattress salesmen creep me the touch out.

We got a Simmons Beautyrest. Liked it enough that when the Hurricane flooded our apt and ruined the thing, we bought the exact same one again. Got it from US-Mattress.com, seemed like they had the best prices. It's basically just a front, they order the bed from the manufacturer after you purchase it.

Just saw a 55" Samsung SUHD 4K for 899 at Costco. Kinda hard to beat that, IMO.

Since you're not a poor, and don't want a really big screen size, I'd recommend you suck it up and get an OLED.

Was at a friends house and his kid was watching Cars on their new curved 4K OLED and I was just as enthralled as the 2 year old, it was unreal.

First Thanksgiving is in the books. Completely hassle free. One more to go on Thursday at noon and that will be a wrap for Thanksgiving 2015.

Weather looks really good Wednesday. My plan is to get out of the office early enough to come home and put up my outdoor Christmas decorations.

With the exception of buying for my wife, my Christmas shopping is finished as well.

Golden State on the Worldwide Leader tonight. Not a bad end to the weekend.

Appreciate the responses. Mattress is definitely first priority.

Great of of sport.

Just checked out the website. Good look here, seems like it's cheaper with a good selection.

We ordered a Bed-in-a-Box. King size. Can personally vouch that it's the best money I ever spent and I never knew I could sleep like this. Check the reviews, very positive.

We are doing Thanksgiving at Churchill this year combined with some Bourbon Trail hits on Wednesday & Friday. We also have dinner reservations at Proof On Main Wednesday night; any dinner recs would be welcome.

We are staying at the Seelbach & will be downtown on Friday night for the opening Christmas festivities. Best bar on 4th street to watch the game?

Yeah, can you explain to me what a curved TV does/is that's awesome. I do not understand, and have no desire to head to BestBuy and check one out.
