Look, no one hates Willy more than I do here, but he's one of the few who consistently brings daily old school randoms. And he does a solid job of hitting various topics. Despite the fact I despise everything about him as a human being, I think he does a really good job in GYERO.

During one game on Christmas Day against the Indiana Pacers, before the game Bird told Chuck Person that he had a Christmas present waiting for him.
During the game, when Person was on the bench, Bird shot a three-pointer on the baseline right in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, “Merry f**king Christmas!”, and then the shot went in. This was no doubt inspired by Person (nicknamed the “Rifleman”) stating prior to the game that “The Rifleman is Coming, and He’s Going Bird Hunting.”

Would love to see back to back solid performances by Poythress. He actually used good angles last game using his size & athleticism for dunks & bank shots.

tKinda sucks to be on the same side as Richie during basketball season for once. We're usually good for at least one intense text fight.

Last night while running I started to run through my mind the trials of the 10-11 & 13-14 teams. Realize you can't compare teams bc the makeup/personnel & strengths vs weaknesses are totally different with every team but as a whole I need to be more patient giving Cal the benefit of the doubt with reaching this group & possibly tweaking how they should play.
Skal will get better. He has no choice.
The game will slow down for Murray as it did for Knight.
Also need to realize that Poythress will
never be the skill player we want but he's still not 100% with his explosiveness & coming back from that type of injury is a process mentally and physically. Still believe we can have March 2014 Poythress.
We can't possibly shoot any worse so shots will start falling and that stuff is contagious.
We'll never be a bruising team in the middle nor a great shooting team but Cal doesn't nearly get enough credit with changing things up in season to maximize strengths and minimize weaknesses.
