I discovered decade old mixed CD's in my wifes car last night- one which was a rap compilation featuring Too Short, Kilo Ali, and other- for lack of better words- vulgar artists. It was underneath a gospel music CD. We threw it in the player and she knew every lyric. It was a bit unsettling to be honest. Southern debutante girls arent supposed to listen to that stuff.
That's pretty erotic imo.

I couldn't even tell you any of the non-playoff bowl games. I didn't find out until last week Notre Dame was playing Ohio State.

I will not lie. When my ESPN app went off last night and all I saw was Wisconsin Coach Bo Ryan..... I thought he was dead and smiled. If I'm going to hell for that so be it. Can't wait until he calls a game or is in the studio.

Of course the Reds got ripped off. Because Cincinnati.

Stoops: “We’ve got to push forward and bust the door down” = Billy Clyde: "We've got to get 5% tougher."

Pointless, meaningless and useless.

I've never understood why fans get pissed off about this sort of thing. What the hell do you want him to say? He can't tell you the staff changes yet. He can't just hide for 6 months.

Because it means nothing, and does nothing except placate the Kool-Aid drinkers and Pollyannas who are already #ALLIN no matter what.

I don't expect him to publish his play book or call out coaches, but it wouldn't hurt to at least address the fact that the team was disorganized (despite already stupidly denying it), that maybe he needs to not micromanage, or that they'd address the division in the locker room that was clearly evident.

Saying "we gotta push" is hollow.

I wan him to not speak if he has nothing to say...which he doesn't. Unless he is obligated to do this, which he ain't, wtf is he wasting time on some silly *** fan radio show? For who? For what? I like Stoops, kind of, but the more of this bs he pulls the more I think he's full of ****.

He absolutely should hide for 6 months. Who gaf. It's like he's out here campaigning to keep his job. He needs to chill and realize it's basketball season. STFU and do football stuff. We really dgas. Go hire a coach then you can call in to your radio show and give us the good news.

Billy Gillispie or Mark Stoops:

Now we have time to reflect back. How motivating is this experience Will it make you motivated or will it make you complacent If you're complacent, then we'll be right back where we were. If the deal is you enjoyed the experience so much it motivates you, then the sky's the limit.

They played harder and much, much, much, much smarter. That's where I thought we'd really improved, but we took a lot of steps back tonight.

I think he has played that way all the time, we've just had a difficult time getting him the football consistently where he can do great things with it. But I think he has been playing great all year.

This was a really, really tough loss for us. Both teams played hard enough to win. There wasn't a great deal of offense on either side you credit the defenses, but it's a tough one.

I really thought Patrick would have a big day because of his mindset. He's been having some hard luck and struggling to stay out on the field.

It was a tough loss and a hard fought game. It was a very competitive game. I thought it was very fitting the way the game ended. We had so many close games all season long.

Got a good whipping tonight. They played harder than us. They played much, much, much smarter than us. ... They executed, played with discipline, they played hard, they got to the endzone, they did what they were coached to do. They have good players.

I didn't think they'd get starry-eyed. I think they're mentally tough. They know what they are, a blue-collar team. They respect all their opponents, but they don't have fear of anyone. That shows great maturity on their part.

Just listened to the Stoops interview...

I want to like the guy but would be lying if I didn't say he sometimes does give off that Billy Clyde vibe. Don't get me wrong, a great interview does not = great coach. However, most of the best coaches do control the narrative.

After time to prep...I wasn't expecting anything earth shattering but I did expect a more streamlined train of thought, it's not like Jones asked anything that he didn't already know was coming.

Oh well, 5% tougher I guess. Haven't given up hope on this staff but next year is definitely a "show me" situish.

Other than name on front of jerseys, what has UK done that demands we take them seriously as one of the title favorites?

I mean, we did beat Duke pretty easily.

Who can name 5 better wins out there than handling Duke?

Mags pretty much spoon fed him that interview. He and the KSR crew have been calling for Stoops to come on the air...I get that he likes Stoops and wants him to succed, just felt like he could have asked some tougher questions. Particularly about the play calling. Was Stoops micromanaging Dawson?

As a fan I'm disgruntled, and really don't want to hear anymore about football for a while. I give Stoops another year, if the ships not right, his seat should be getting pretty hot.

Honest question…

Are there more accidental home shootings or more burglars shot?

I've always been pro gun, but I'm not sure I want to risk the small chance my daughters find it.

You can (and should) educate them and keep it locked away, but kids don't always make the best decisions and somehow always seem to find keys, etc.

Got my carry permit in the mail this week. If I was 80 proof size I probably wouldn't carry a gun in my car/at home. However, I'm not and must protect my family with what I feel is the best option. Hope I never have to use it. My children are eleven so a gun safe with a fingerprint access is the way to go. It's a big risk and we won't know the right answer until something good/bad takes place. God help me if I am wrong.
