Good grief nobody is talking about putting little kids down, but their parents could show some control and respect for others property. It was a nice fountain, not some well in some Rosey cheeked back yard.

Haven't bragged at all. I only said "police: there in minutes when seconds count". I only offered my input when asked. Am willing to shoot and kill someone who threatens my life. Guess that would separate us from one another, and I'm totally ok with that.

He said he was getting an alarm. You crazies brought up guns. We're just laughing at your insecurities. But if we were attacked we'd just encourage it.

I could have a gun in my house and only 2 people on earth would know. I mean I own 4-5 guns and have my whole life. What people don't understand is I'm not scared of guns I'm scared of certain people with them.

If someone breaks into my home and attempts to harm my family, I'll murder them with my bare hands, thank you very much. Guns are for pussies too scared to deal in hand to hand combat. Hands around the throat, knife in the gut...much more accurate than your ***** guns.

Well, if they are attempting to harm your family there is a good chance you are bringing a knife to a gunfight.

I've never been a gun guy, but lately I've been considering it, and was actually encouraged to start carrying by my new boss. But then when I think about the situations where I would conceive wanting a gun, I just can't imagine a scenario that doesn't end with me dead in a pool of blood because when it comes down to it I'm just a stupid ***** that would probably end up just pissing the bad guy off by brandishing a gun. I'm a good sized boy, hopefully that keeps the terrorists away.

They are probably your dad's guns, quit riding coat tails. One day you'll need to stand on your own two legs Bambi.

Huge diff between a shotgun under the bed or revolver in a nightstand safe and a TOUCHING CONCEALED WEAPON IN PUBLIC.

People are touching stupid, irrational, emotional hotheads and any touching hilljack shouldn't be carrying a damn gun around the mall. WTF people.

I'm sure I've told the story but in Bowling Green two years ago a young man was killed in a road rage incident by a friend of mines dad because they both had guns on them and they were both touching idiots. HE KILLED A MAN. ROAD RAGE.

And Adam, the poster who gets so worked up over a sports message board argument that he wants to meet in a parking lot to fight it out, is the one leading the cncealed carry charge?!? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Of course not. Here's my personal feelings (I know everyone has been on pins and needles waiting for it).

I think the risk of someone accidentally being killed or injured because of a gun I have in my home is greater than the risk of someone breaking into my home and attempting to cause my family harm.

I don't know if I'm right, and I'm gambling no matter what decision I make. But that's how I see it. Pretty simple for me.

brax is a little boy. if there's one guy that *needs* a gun, it is his tiny ***.

If you have no kids around/know you won't have kids at your house like me, it definitely tilts the scales towards having one. But that's as far as it goes. I have images of some of you guys terrorizing your family by running active shooter drills at 3 in the morning, just to keep everyone aware of the constant danger...

Can't stand the heat get out the kitchen, imo. You sound like type of guy who would give up his parking spot just because someone pulled a gun on you.

Q. Does Batman use guns?
A. No.

All I need to know, really. I suspect that most (not all) people who conceal carry do so because it makes their dick feel bigger, but I'm admittedly a bit of a cynic. I can't think of one situation in my 38 years on Earth where I thought, "What I could really use here is a gun." Maybe I've been lucky.

A. No.

False. Batman has guns all over his Batbike, bat mobile, bat wing.

He's also a billionaire with unreal access to military grade weaponary. He dresses up like a bat and hunts criminals as a vigilante. Does he have a conceal and carry permit? So maybe not the best comparison.

There are few things that make a small town look like uneducated hill jacks than a Wet/Dry vote. According to the wet side if Russell County goes wet they'll get an Applebee's that will usher in the greatest economic prosperity in it's history or according to the dry side everyone's child will be murdered by a drunk driver.

this todd frazier trade hurts. he's probably the best clubhouse guy we've had since larkin. i understand trading him as part of the rebuild, but it appears we got chris heisey, corky miller, and zack cozart in return. ugh.

always felt we were on borrowed time with frazier. he's put up bigger numbers as a pro than he did as a minor leaguer. only hit 233/285 on the road last season. turns 30 next month. now he's moving to a pitcher friendly park. but still, it looks like we got fleeced. AND, krazykats says the reds got the better end of the deal. case closed.

It's incredibly stupid for a town with any decent population to be dry. People picture biker bars moving in or Roadhouse or some ****, but what you actually get is places to eat that do not have a drive thru or an old country store you have to walk through. Restaurants cannot sustain themselves without drink sales. Plus it generates tax revenue for struggling municipalities.

Especially one with a huge lake.

It would be pretty funny if Jamestown Marina/State Dock was wet one Summer after Doc Boat wanted a slip there and ultimately passed because it was dry.

JESUS turned the water into wine, people.

Not Diet Coke, coconut water or iced tea. Touching wine, man.

And Gandolf the Grey smoked the good ****.

The great men of this world and others are not afraid to open an Applebees.

You have to live life to the fullest or Obama Bush Laden has already won, man.

Touching wine.

Marty was on a local show yesterday and said to not expect the Redlegs to be decent until at least 2018. hello 100+ loss seasons.

glad they loaded up and took advantage when they had all that awesome pitching tho! shew wee those championship runs and title celebrations were just off the chains!!

reading the "insider" stories/speculation on the slow motion train wrecks that are happening with Texas/Tx A&M's football programs make me somewhat less redass about our disaster. somewhat. allegedly the powers that be at Texas undermined Cholly's hire of the OC he wanted to make from TCU months ago, because they want to not win more than 6 games in '16 to justify his firing. And Sumlin is losing not one but 2 5* quarterbacks before their damn bowl game. Against UL, who as usual gets ALL the breaks possible.

so both those schools are going to see who flinches in '16 first to fire their coach and begin the race to land Herman.

I love Frazier, but he has had 2 good half seasons. He was beyond awful the 2nd half of the season last year.

The 2B we got in return is a highly regarded prospect, but I think they should've gotten more in return.

They will be pretty ****** for a year or two.

But when they fire Dusty, they will be great! The lineup is stacked!!!

THURSDAY RANDOMS:

- Dusty Baker- as has happened his entire career- was given the keys to a LOADED machine. Just because the guy behind him sucked doesn't mean he deserved credit. So, GGP, Willy.

- Old college roomie got season tickets this year and is starting to realize that as a 30-something married professional living 1.5 hrs away from Lex, the idea of being a UKBB season ticket holder is greater than the reality. I could've told him that. Those weeknight games against marginal teams just aren't worth the hassle in this HD TV age. If I lived in Lexington, hell yeah. Living up here, I'm good hitting a few games a year.

- In modern CBB, my favorite kind of player is the athletic do-it-all combo forward- your Terrence Joneses, MKGs and Justice Winslows- the dudes who can guard 3-4 positions, clean the glass, lead the break, finish and score a little from the inside and outside. Those guys are hard to find. UK looks to be leading for two of them in the '17 class. Jarred Vanderbilt and John Petty seem to be higher on UK than any other guys.

- I've never gotten the gun love. Just has never made sense to me.

- Did today's provincialism (state pride stuff) rise from '90s hiphop and repping one's hood or area code or is it just me?

- What stupid MFers like Dan Shaughnessy don't get it this- even if Calipari wasn't on the up-and-up at UMass (and I believe his side of the story), the reason the school and the greater region still appreciate him is because he took UMass to heights they had never been or will never get back to. Cal didn't leave a great place in ruins. He gave a marginal place it's one shining moment- however fleeting. At least for 10 years, UMass was a great college basketball program.

- I laughed at such a thought earlier, but could Towns end up being on Davis's level? Is he potential "Top 3-5 player in the NBA" good? Dude just dropped a 25&10 on his ROY rival. He's as intangibly "face of the franchise" ready as any player who's gotten drafted since LeBron. Just an intelligent, media-friendly, team-oriented, charismatic kid...with the skills and talent to match.

The Reds were better off with Dusty and his wristbands and toothpicks than Price. That's all I'm saying', Rook.

Spin it, turn it and distress it any way you want.
