This is what i would expect the good doctor to spend his money on in terms of getting fit.

- It's definitely nice sitting on another "Could be Cal's best" recruiting class. I love everything about those guys, especially considering the good chance Ulis or Briscoe returns. Maybe add another shooter, but Fox and Monk are good. Bam is just stupid.

- I don't know how to feel about Dabo. On one hand, I have nothing against Clem(p)son and I love his enthusiasm. On the other, he's a religious wingnut who believes in some really dumb ****.

- Anyone's eyes ever get stuck because you roll them so far into the back of your head after reading one of Adam's posts? Has happened to me 4x.

- @B.B.d.K. how do you feel about Serial Season 2? Color me unimpressed so far.

- My Netflix TV Watchlist at this point:

Sherlock- terrific but each episode is like 1.5 hrs
Master of None
Making of a Murderer

It's fine...knew it wouldn't be as cool as the 1st season, but I'll keep listening -- I have faith in Sara.

-Oh look, it's Tuesday. With an all day Gambol card. Better get things wrapped up around here.

We only have room for 2 guys to come back if you factor in the guys who are guaranteed to be here next year.

Fox
Monk
Bam
SK-J
Gabriel

Matthews
Humphries
Wynyard

Willis
Hawkins
Mulder

- Christmas Time is Here is the best Christmas song there is.

- wcc does this format of posting better than I do

- so my wife always plans a nice dinner out, no kids, etc. with my friends from HS their wives, etc. over Christmas when everyone is in town. Usually hit a nice place in OTR or Main Strasse, etc. This year it was planned for the 28th- same night as Bengals/Broncos BATTLE OF THE MARGINAL BACKUP QBS FOR #2 IN THE AFC. At first I was pissed but then pulled a crafty move and made the rezzies myself so now we've got a group of 14 at the Yard House for about 4 hours on Monday night. Sneaky move for

- wife and kids are gone for a few days and I'm sick as a dog. Between that and watching Calvin Johnson get ONE EFFING CATCH last night to knock me out of the money in FFB, pretty sure Santa hates ol' Maxxxxxxx.

- did make the finals in my "other" league, so going to make some money for playing fake football this year irrereregardless

- I still think I have some 2014 stank left on me so I can try to NOT get too upset about Saturday's game, but g-damn we looked listless out there. I mean, more often than not Cal will bake the cake but sometimes I like to lick the spoon and it gives me diarrhea.

I'm not the biggest fan of The Banks- more of an OTR and Mt. Adams guy. I like older places with character. With that said, I LOVE Moerlein Lager House and Yard House, and always wonder to myself why I don't go more often. Great TV set-up at both. Outstanding beer. Good food. Cool atmosphere. I'd rank Moerlein slightly ahead, but Yard House has the better game-watching environment.

I won a BJ with my wife over the animals at Radio City being real.

-We haven't visited Mt. Adams in about a decade when I'm up there, so you must not be as big of a Mt. Adams guy as you want to believe. That time has passed, bub. Let it go.

80, we actually had meatballs and sauce with the hamburger meat last night. It was phenomenal. More organic, grass-fed beef please. We have a deep freeze to store it in.

Yep. I am fairly certain that, if I started today at the most entry level position for football coaching, I could be a D1 head coach/millionaire within 15 years. And that's not exclusive to me by any stretch. I am just a firm believer that coaching is a career like anything else: it requires some basic knowledge of the industry and talent, a start, and then the rest is up to you.

I mean like I have said, Mark Stoops is a blathering idiot. If he can do it, then I see no reason why most of us couldn't. Hell, Brad Stevens is a perfect example of what I am saying.

The TV setup is the ONLY reason I picked YH. It's "nice" enough that I didn't get the stinkeye from the hens, but TV/beer oriented enough to get pie eyed with my friends. But yeah, normally OTR > Banks.

This may sound silly, but adding Bolden kind of concerns me. I think we need to be going smaller these days, not bigger and I worry about Cal starting 3 bigs again. I'd much rather add a guard like Simmons or find a shooter.
Well, Simmons was probably going to come aboard imo if both Ulis and Briscoe left. And if they do both go i think we add him. With one of them back along with Fox and Monk i just doubt he'd want that. Bolden can develop for two years like Dakari

-I lean more towards the give them responsibilities and ability to make their own decisions rather than shelter them. My parents were easily the most strict of all my friends but they did make us work, get a bank account/credit card and require us to pay our own gas/insurance starting at 16. They wouldn't get us pagers for a long time though and finally cell phones at 18 that we could only make emergency calls on. I really loosened them up for MCF. Not sure he had any rules other than grades. They were psycho about our grades.

-What is 10, 4-5th grade? Yeah, we'd found porn by then. Grew up with the early internet so we had access to AOL/Prodigy chat rooms. We all spend an enormous portion of our lives communicating with people of similar interest on the intraweb. Doesn't seem that different than watching a youtube channel.

-Made some meatballs with 80's freshly murdered cow. They were phenomenal.

-Breakfast for the crew this morning as another Xmas celebration. Hardworking mofo's, well deserved.

-A home gym and man cave are two areas I wish we had.

-PTI and Mrs were :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: around G. Will be a damn shame if those two don't have kids. Especially PTI, dude LOVES kids.

-So yeah, since my "G is sleeping like 8 hours a night comment" I guess he's entered a "leap" and has decided to go off the rails. :weary:Crazy stuff though. Was reviewing my pics of him. Dude is getting big. Trying to crawl. Developing a little personality. Understanding certain words. Awesome stuff.

-Work Thursday and Friday, 3 parties to make in that time, rush home, UL/UK, back to Lou on Sunday for a party. Informed the family this is the last year of staying in Lou. We'll be waking up at our house from now on Xmas morning. Think the preemptive strike was the play.

I think Skal, Lee and Ulis go. Briscoe comes back and we add Bolden.
Mulder would probably move on. Willis could probably be a 5th year transfer as well. Those guys need to figure something out this year if they want to be part of the team.

I thought Ulis was a lock to leave but he didn't look good against OSU's size. That's a real issue. Likely to go undrafted if he's ok with that.

Brad Stevens is, by all accounts, a basketball genius.

Football definitely seems like the way to go.

-The indifference by many with Ulis b/c of his shooting slump (coupled with our incoming class) is pretty hilarious. He's going to be fine, and will be one of the better guards in UK history if he's to stay 4 years, I truly believe that.

What do you mean? I think everyone loves Ulis and think he'll put it together here soon. I'm just not sure he'd be drafted.

I used to have to knock it off to Baywatch and Maxim. Kids are so lucky these days. They don't even know.
You didn't try hard enough.

HBO/Showtime/Cinemax, early internet, neighborhood black market pages torn out of Hustler, the cardboard box in the laundry room and channels 96/98 if worse came to worse.

I didn't have HBO/Showtime/Cinnemax or the early internet. I'm a little older than you, bubba.

I'm sure the new Wildcat Coal Lodge is dope, but it just doesn't seem as plush or choice as the old Wildcat Lodge was in its prime, relatively speaking.

So, having the opinion that giving 10 or 12 year olds a cell phone is probably unnecessary is unreasonable?

Ok. Glad to be alone on this one.

This trend in GYERO thought among many that he's just a 'role' player, and can't excel without a super Elite roster, and that he's just a 'solid' little college guard.

I don't believe that to be the case.

Oh, well then I completely agree with you. He's much more than a role player.
