-Great long weekend in Chicago. Pequods, Tavern on Rush, Elf the Musical, tons of walking around and copious amounts of holiday revelry. A good time was had by all.

-As a non-parent, I often think about all of the situations that parents talk to me about and wonder what my responses would be… and then decide to keep my opinions to myself because I’m not a parent and have no idea. Wife and I do crush all parenting decisions behind peoples back, though. Batting 1.000.

-Serial is slightly overrated. When you listen to something for 10+ hours there’s a need to talk yourself into loving it… but it’s just ok. Kinda like most Ken Burns stuff.

-Definitely in the top 5% of GYERO present wrappers. Crisp corners, no excess tape, symmetrical sides… take pride in what you do.

I have zero problems with UK Football cheating and am open to a postseason ban (lol) and probation (lol) if it provides for 4-5 years of uncharted success and we press, fast-break, and shoot 3's on grass.

If I was the athletic director that is exactly what you'd get. We'd win the East within 3 years, death penalty within 6.

So, I guess @SAECATFAN pretty much has 2015 GYERO Poster of the Year locked up? BBdK's been better of late but he was awful the first half of the year. Same with Geese. Anth's been good not great. Richie will probably get my runner-up vote. Solid performance.

My Christmas wrapping reflects when (time of day) it was wrapped. Most of the kids stuff will be done at 2AM and honestly they don't give a touch. No pressure like having to wrap the secret santa gift of a coworker of your wife's, no matter how nice my wrap was I was going to get skewered. Some people say its relaxing, I'm usually cussing under my breath the entire time thinking of how silly this all is. I'd donate 100 bucks to whatever girl/boy scout troop this second to knock out the dozen or so I've got left to do.

There are a multitude of methods for effective offense. Bigs don't have to be back to the basket players to be assets on strong offensive teams. It's a nice tool to have, but isn't necessary. Smart coaches and smart players work around weaknesses and try to augment strengths. UConn has won 2 championships without a post player that requires a double team. Duke won one with Zoubeck at the 5 and a face up 4 in Singler. Our 2012 team didn't have a real proficient post scorer.

If you don't have a post player, you create chances inside through other methods. Passing to cutters, dribble driving, pick and roll, etc. are all alternative routes to creating chances in the paint to score or pass.

Fatguy you're Kyle Macy aren't you?

I liked the old days when it was actually decided, there were threads and tournaments dedicated to the awards. **** we had bowl games. Agree with SAE though, good pick. Dude has crushed with the snarky one liners.

Hate to be one of those "things were so much better in the olden days" guys but 18inyourneck's 2003 performance will never be topped.

There goes Lee flailing wildly out of bounds as he tries to block a shot, and look, there goes Skal who horribly mistimed his jump. Wow looks like Skal actually blocks the rebound out of Alex's hand and the opponent puts in another easy one.

/ my least favorite thing our "bigs" are good at.

Wife 2 weeks ago: Lets just not do presents for each other and put what we would have spent towards our new car down payment.

Wife yesterday: I just got done wrapping your gifts.

:flush: Guess I'll be going shopping tomorrow.

RE: Ulis, role player

In two of our biggest games in the last calendar year, kid was the BEST player on the court- against Louisville at the Yum last year and against Duke this year.

Remember that.

Speaking of cheating-When less than average football teams start winning and snatching blue chip recruits there is usually one guy that commits that you tell yourself, "ok. HTF are we/they getting that guy"

When Bobby Blizzard committed to Kentucky I knew we were doing things shady....

For a second I thought we finally caught wind how to build a SEC contender.

Too bad our defensive fking coaching staff didn't live tackle and the head man openly admitted to letting other teams score to get the ball back.

O and he listened to Jimmy Buffet Fins before every game.
