Has a player ever been more correctly named than Brutus for Ole Miss? It'd be like my last name being Penguin or BBdK being named bowling pin.

I thought Pel was from Paintsville not Brooklyn. I guess all those years with Billy influenced him, nature/nurture or something like that.

Kudos to the brain trust at UK that decided "struggling musician playing at a random bar in Nashville" as the face of what a UK degree can do for you!

I find this the most bizarre campaign. UK has a top pharmacy school, top school of denistry, a good international business school, etc., but they choose the struggling artist for Nashville.

Billy Joe Wildcat graduated from UK in 2000 and immediately moved to Paintsville to become a construction specialist. Now he lives in a luxurious double wide and is still paying off his student loans. #seeblue

Perfect time to get Mulder and Wynyard some PT and they get zero minutes. Why does Cal do this? Also saves the regulars from a needless injury.

Despite being curious as hell about Wynyard, I'm fine with those guys not playing. Let's get a rotation down. Get the top 7-8 guys humming and then worry about passing out the orange slices.

The commercial probably works well for the "target market" of dumb kids who could be convinced to consider a college because of a basketball game commercial.

I know that personally, that commercial that began with a car full of fairly attractive 18-22 year olds representing a healthy cross section of genders and ethnicities (and sexual preferences...?) driving along a scenic Kentucky byway and then ended with the same group gallivanting up the lawn of William T. Young sure would have made me want to college at UK... you know, if hadn't already.

Do we know for certain that the girl singing her way through Nashville isn't the same girl running her way to WT Young? Maybe UK is in act II of a VII act epic feat. Kelcy, the girl who had it all? #seeblue

The difference is that I admitted my Ulis "hate" was misguided and I was just taking my 2013-2014 anger out on the kid. 73 will make it his epitaph.

Chuck Matthews played really great defense tonight, guys. All kinds of stuff outside of the box score. Deflections, forcing guys into bad spots, switching, positioning, etc.
Also that drive he had and pulled up in the paint was pretty sweet as well.

Except I can't think of many teenage girls watching a UK game on the last Saturday before school starts back. I love UK basketball, but I can't imagine it really holding the interest for that demographic. Maybe it's targeted at the teenage boys - "Hey, they have pretty girls there. That's it, I'm picking UK!"

Well, to a large contingent of idiot UK students, moving to Nashville with no real job prospects is probably considered "making it."

Then when you move back in with mommy and daddy start and they're footing the North Face vest and riding boot bill, you can tell everyone about that time you moved to Nashville. Just like that TV show
