If we don't get a lot better we are going to get run from that place. After what we did to them last year they will be out for blood.

Twice now Kansas has had the last shot and Mason went 1-on-5 and tossed up some ********.

What a game!

Two different schools of thought tnight call the TO or win/die with your prep/talent. Basically Tubby vs. Cal end game. Good case study. With that said love Kruger.

Hard to inbound the ball with somebody playing chest to chest defense on you and you can't move.

If anybody wants some gross carrot soup, I got the hookup.

My Father-In-Law (terrible amateur chef) wanted to cook the sides for Christmas dinner at my house and gave my wife a grocery list. The list included five pounds of carrots instead of two (after a "miscalculation").

Needless to say, the "carrot soup option" has been suggested for almost every meal since Christmas, which I've politely declined each time.

Also, I feel very energized from my time off.

-As good of a regular season game as you'll see -- wow. OU did it without Cousins too, he was putrid.

...the rest of the team pretty much stood around late while Hield/Woodard did their thing, but they still took it down to the last shot. Those are the two best teams in the country right now.

Watching Bragg/Diallo ride pine and do absolutely nothing is a nice reminder to be patient with Skal. Of course, much of that is probably on Self, he pretty much hates playing freshman unless he absolutely has to.

Hield/Meeks comparisons were all over Twitter. Similar style games...Meeks is faster, but Buddy has a much better dribble game in the halfcourt imo. Meeks was a pretty 'straight line' player.

Buddy tho -- he's a great story all around. Love that dude.

-Speaking of great stories, did anyone catch the Ernie Johnson (TNT) E:60 last weekend? Wow. Was somewhat familiar with his story, but what a guy. Can't be many (any) better in sports than him...highly recommend seeking it out if you can find it.

-Looking forward to Hornsby, Quarterman, and the boys getting on track tonight. A win tonight would be pretty impressive, imo. Consider we beat them by a bucket on the final possession *last* year down there...

Most impressive parts to me about last night's game:

- How Kansas locked Oklahoma down on D down the stretch. Those guards were in OU's kitchen from the end of regulation on. That's what makes Hield's game so remarkable- Kansas was playing good D.

- Oklahoma wouldn't die. Their offense was **** from the end of regulation on- weaves and 3s- but they wouldn't go away.

- It was curious how Spangler didn't even look at the rim for the last 20 minutes of play. That pick-and-pop was there.

- Kansas's two star vets- Selden and Ellis- have improved a ton, similar to the leap Miller made for us in 2012. Seems like they never miss.

- I've made my feelings known about Mason, but he and Graham are just relentless on offense and D, and that puts a lot of pressure on the opponent.

- Was curious why Self didn't use his bench more in the OTs. Oklahoma was on fumes and Self had a deep bench at his disposal.

- Lucas actually made some plays in the OTs (fresh legs), but I really don't get why Self doesn't just give Diallo 20+ mpg. With all the vets in that lineup, you can afford his inexperience and KU's vet bigs- Traylor, Lucas and Mickelson are pretty marginal.

- Cousins was awful.

- Kansas can't keep shooting like this all year can they? Jeezus- Selden is hitting 55% from 3, Ellis 50%. It's ridiculous.

- Obviously, we need to improve a lot over the next few weeks AND come to play, but I'm not going to be some ***** and whine about being scared of going to AFH. We have a shot to win.

- Definitely the Top 2 teams in the country. UNC is too soft on D. Maryland may get there, but seems they're always coming from behind. Michigan State with Valentine is solid. Other than that, it's open.

That UNC game was like an All American Game Scrimmage.

Over hit with like 9 minutes to go. [eyeroll] ...2nd half score was 65-53. Nice D!

Been a member of about every effing gym out there... Even joined a plush one with VIP locker room and ****... Ended up paying $75/nth to do a few curls, bench, end up walking on the treadmill in the movie room or lounging by the outdoor pool in the summer. Fun, but Biggest waste of "workout" money ever.

Only one that's ever worked is D1 Sports, expensive, but worth every penny especially considering it's a personal trainer experience that is basically training you like a Division 1 athlete by a D1 athlete usually. Went back to it a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier

Doesn't hurt your effort to have a 6'3" 265 lb monster pushing your *** either...

Why do you need to to pay top $ for a DIV 1 athlete to train you when you aren't going to become a D1 athlete?

Is it that hard to get a 4 day workout with weights and cardio and have self motivation? All for $10 a month at most places in 2016?

The Manziel stuff is super weird. I mean, it's the NFL, you can so anything short of hitting women. Accidently kill a guy? Meh, we can maybe deal with that. Oh, you like drugs huh lol well here you go, have fun. NOT YOU JOHNNY YOU IN TIMEOUT!!

Why can't Johnny act a fool? It's kind of his thing. Cleveland be hating, imo.

a) He's not that good. If you are really good, you can get away with a lot of ****. When you are fighting to stay on a roster, you probably don't want to be an *******.

b) He skipped team meetings, a meeting with the team doctor and the game. Again, when you are fighting to stay on a roster, you probably don't want to be an *******.

c) UKO is a dork.

Then they should really not gaf if that were the case.

But, you're wrong. He started games for them. They have no QB. He's not fighting to stay on the browns roster.

Not sure who the bigger idiot is between Jerry Jones if he picked up Manziel after the Browns cut him or Jim Irsay who should have fired Pagano OR Grigson yesterday but ended up giving them both a contract extension.

Basically, they conned Irsay into believing they could get along and be more agreeable to keep their jobs and get raises in the process. Nice. [laughing]

-I'm not much on Hot Browns. Too rich.

-It is nice to slowly work your Christmas clothes into the rotation through January. Just really nice.

-Agree on Manziel to an extent. People need to definitely leave him alone in the offseason, but skipping out to Vegas to party during the season deserves scorn. Not acceptable, imo.

-I worship this time of year. Onward and upward. Will be March before we know it. Then spring/summer. A warm November/December changes everything, though.

-Oklahoma +8 was nice.

-Was back to my all time high on the scale Sunday morning. Thanks, Obama. Been hitting the treadmill and I'm back to the free weights. Just keeping it really basic for Dad at this point as I'm tired of all the exercise ******** out there. So we'll see.

-"Wrapped Around Your Finger" is making moves in my Police power list.

Hot Brown is delicious, but best served in a mini portion -- more local places should work that into a little appetizer somehow. A few bites is perfect...

...anything more is almost too much, agreed.

-Wife sent me a '65 days til SECT' alert today...talk about something that creeps up on you. Happens every year....one day soon it will be like, "Oh ****, that's in 2 weeks"

Feel like this time of the year flies by, even if it's OMG SO COLD.

Johnny F Football is a genius. Partying his A off resulting in the Browns cutting him free & clear, and he easily lands his dream job of backup QB for the Cowboys. If he kept his nose clean & worked hard he would cost a midround to late draft pick that Jerry's football people would convince him is too high a price to pay.

gained 10 lbs from Thanksgiving to new years. and very much enjoyed doing so, zero regret. I know what to do to knock that off, plus another 10 before polo + shorts weather arrives.

LSU by 4 tonight

- Hardest part about working out? Getting to the gym. Few here are trying to look like Laron Landry. Just keep making yourself go until it becomes habit. Obviously, that's much more difficult and less of a priority for parents.

- I like what I've seen from Jaylen Brown. Can't shoot but long and bouncy. Good handle.

- Keep praying for the day when Murray learns when to shoot and when to drive. It's coming.

- I can't say I've ever agreed with one Mashburned take. Quite a feat.
