Pretty sure every middle aged man in Kentucky had one of these in the 90's

My Dad had that one.

If you're walking down the street after dark soliciting, perhaps.

Driving in a car to a Middle School, not so much. What a bunch of pussies.

Btw, great call on a school being impossible Ursch. Nailed it.

I mean, we're not talking about Portland here.

Rob's wife grew up right around the corner, and Sloot went to HS there -- that should tell you it's actually a great neighborhood.

You in, Vern?

Envision the first 5 minutes of GYERO 3v3 as an intense battle with guys fighting over screens, ripping down 1 handed boards, hard post moves... then there's gonna be a lot of "close to puking" before the game can really settle in.

Recent tweet by @KentuckyMBB has a picture of the guys playing 5 v 5 at practice.

If you look closely, you'll see Ulis, Murray, Matthews, Poythress, and Wynyard on the same team.

Sign of things to come??

- Don't know about there, but Hoots has all you can eat wings for $10.99 on Mondays...worth a look.

- Started smoking again...2.5 years without a single hit of nicotine...was stressed out and drunk a couple weeks ago ----> Done. At least it's not vape.

- Ben Moore...forgot about that loon. I was legitimately nervous when he found out my address somehow. Then he started adding a bunch of girls I'm friends with on The Facebook.

- Looks like Meow is back in the picture.

- The Jinx tho. That last episode...

I'm in. It's a bit of a haul from the east end but I grew up maybe 5 minutes from Farnsley (so did crankdat). I looked into a few churches with gyms in the general area but some looked ghetto. Would love to get some gym time in St Agnes, best wood floors in a catholic grade school.

The last standing pick-up game I took part in was during my semester in Venice, 2003.

Every Sunday evening, my roommates and I would hoof it out to Arsenale to take on our very own Washington Generals: a team of Filipino doormen whom I dubbed, "The Filipi-netians."

They would practice on the same court we used for their rec league and their coach reveled in the level of competition that a rabble of corn-fed, state school, American college kids could provide.

We teamed up with guy on Duke's women's team's practice squad (with lots of Duhan Ping-Pong stories), a Wake Forest chick whom was better than any Asian service industry workers in Europe, guaranteed.

I can't think of a more perfect setting for dominating small Asian men in sport than playing on a court where the lines are white marble inlay, the backdrop is a sunset over the Lido, and any nasty Filipino smack can be countered with untranslatable hip-hop vernacular, "Slob on my knob, MF-er."

funny thing about the mlb hof tightening their voting standards this year, which eliminated over 100 voters: the major change was that writers must have covered the sport actively within the past 10 years in order to maintain their vote. seriously.

"dear bbwaa. in order to be considered a baseball writer, you must have written about baseball in the past decade. k thanks."

wtf??

Weirdest basketball game I ever took part in was at a nightclub in Milan, Italy. Fraternity brother (OW) and I walk in dressed up, hard soled shoes, and here is this basketball court with 9' rims. These two little Italian guys were shooting around. We kind of laughed, went to get some drinks. Maybe some arrogant American vibe was put out...

So we're getting some drinks and these hot Italian chicks start talking to us. Evidently they figured we were Americans and obviously skilled at basketball. Some things might have been said to impress said ladies. We end up going back to the court and proceed to put the smack down on little Mario and Luigi. Was like being back at the Delt house, except we could dunk. It's pretty impressive what two white boys can do on 9' goals.

Most random thing ever. Basketball court in a nightclub.
