Just need to have the Louisville mayor come out and denounce those guys like Steve, Ron, and James coming to Louisville and not impregnating any of their white girls if Louisville wants to be big time.

Think Oregon's been doing lots of SoCal poaching over the past few years vis-a-vis their cheer squad. Mercy

Rack. UK has a gymnastics team that just so happens to do some cheers.

Listen, I'm cool with UK cheerleading winning all those titles and being crazy athletes and whatever. But there's something to be said for giving the job to a bunch of 10s wearing the skimpiest, shortest "uniforms" they can get away with. I find that appealing for some reason.

That's what our dance team is for.

Of the month's worth of posts on Wildcat Today, one of them prophesied the GYERO Basketball Association to a certain degree.

This Louisville school situation today is crazy. "unspecified threat"? Even the catholic schools reacting, a bunch of parents milling about outside ours this morning causing my kids to wonder what was going on. My littlest one's daycare is reacting with lockdown procedures for the day, it has filtered all the way down to that level.

at least we didnt panic and completely shut it down for the day like LA did a couple weeks ago

Was a bit disappointed in the talent outside Commonwealth this fall, honestly.

I really blame the designated student tailgate zone. Way too concentrated. Young college women need to have freedom to circulate through the masses and not be corralled like that jmo.

All Mitch's fault IMO

Things I find annoying:

- lame sports bets between politicians when teams from their respective areas play- "Boom, Pittsburgh mayor- looks like you owe Cincinnati's mayor a sandwich from Primanti Brothers. In your face, *****!"

- athlete cameos in TV shows when the main character first sees them and says something like, "Oh, look, its Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher."

- slow walkers- namely middle-aged women and young black men

- NOT seeing as many hot college girls as I would like when tailgating before a Kentucky game

- that Daily Fantasy chick on Sportscenter

ive been wondering where all these really hot fantasy football playing chicks came from, and how so many of them have become experts in the field. strange.
Really?

We had to stop hosting out fantasy football draft in public, so many hot girls interested in a live auction draft we were worried about marriages getting ruined atkot.

What 5 guys are you giving the most minutes to on UK? Would it be the 5 that lead the way now, or would you make a couple changes in minute allotment based on what you've seen?

Fantasy golf draft tomorrow. Hoping for a better result than last year, in which we went 9-27 ([laughing]). There's certainly a trend in golf in almost all but the elite of the elite. If you had a great year last year, you're probably going to back up a bit the following year. I'm convinced it's guys partying a little more, and grinding a lot less because their cards, and finances, are secured.

And as I say that, the only guy we are keeping from last year's **** squad is Steven Bowditch, a guy who had his first good year, and battles clinical depression. Oh well, if he kills himself we only lose a 6th rounder. :eyes:

I'll be sure to post my entire team, and the weekly results, as I am certain everyone is on pins and needles.

To date, this team's resume is a lot like the 2011 team's resume:

By January 8, that team had 3 wins over ranked opponents: #13 Washington, #23 Notre Dame and #22 Louisville.

They also had losses to 3 unranked teams: UConn (blowout), UNC and Georgia.

The 2011 team was ranked 10th when they lost to UGA on January 8, and then 13th the next week.

They were terrible away from home, and lost 6 of their first 7 road games in the SEC.

Knight / Ulis

Jones / Lee

Lamb / Murray

Miller / Poythress

Liggins / Briscoe

Harrellson / Skal

Eloy-Hood-Polson / Willis-Dom-Matthews

Obviously, this team won't make the leap that one did unless Lee starts playing smarter, Poythress gets more consistent and Skal gains a basketball IQ and loses his ******.

I thought that 2011 team had some horrible luck on the road. Weird bounces, teams shooting out of their minds. I'm not sure we can say that about this one.

That's what you have to hope. You have to hope:

- Lee/Poythress become consistent.
- Murray figures it out.
- Labissiere won't be Towns but you hope he becomes a key contributor.
- Briscoe's shot goes from awful to serviceable.
- Our team D gels.
- Someone else emerges from Mulder, Willis, Matthews, Hawkins, Humphries.

Ulis is a given. A lot needs to happen, but it's not outlandish. This isn't a team whose starting backcourt is Ryan Harrow and Julius Mays. And again, there are some good teams- Kansas, UNC, Oklahoma, etc.- but nobody like last year's Big 4.

Throughout the course of the season they had some bad bounces, but they were annihilated by UConn and lost by 7 at Georgia in a game where they were down 11 at the half. They did get better, though, even though they continued to lose away from Rupp.

Well not yet, considering that team's bad bounces, bad luck, etc. came in the SEC.

Ohio State shot out their ***. UCLA has proven to be one of those talented teams who can put it all together on a given night and beat anyone (they took Arizona last night). LSU has Top 10 talent. We don't have an awful loss, although we played awful in the first half against Ohio State and LSU.

At UK, with Calipari, losing by 18 to anybody is a bad loss. Losing to a team with an awful coach/record is about as bad as it gets around here.
