I hate that Willis didn't pop that 3 or take it to the rim when MSU sold out on trying to foul Briscoe.

Teams too often let the opponent play a high risk defense without risk at the end of a game because they choose to milk clock rather than searching for a high percentage basket.

Anyway, conceding 64 TS% to MSU at Rupp isn't a good look.

That brawl was horrifying. Glad the refs dispensed justice and were able to regain control. It was like that night at Mall St. Matthews when thousands of kids rioted. What's the world coming to?

Play hard 10 minutes go up 16.
Cruise and they close to 4.
Pay hard 10 and go up 20.
Take the air out and let them back to within 3.

Does this happen often or am I going crazy?

He gave up at least three 3's, for sure. BBdK is right, it was a shitastic team effort on D. So hard to focus on him.

His man had two in the second half. I am not counting the one at the end of the first half. When cal acted like a idiot.

We won I guess... But this isn't going to distill any of the fears I have for this team. At least Kansas lost.

That was the worst one.

Yeah, not trying to shift the ying/yang balance around here but just not seeing it. Poythress is an enigma, Lee fouls out in about 15 minutes on average, Skal is the softest player I've ever seen any gender or level of competition. If I'm not mistaken Cal briefly tried Briscoe at the 4. lolz.

No inside game, no chance.

*Lee averages 2 frustration fouls a game, maybe more, where he fouls for the sake of fouling (usually a stupid hip check) after he's missed a bunny. For a junior, and a generally smart player, that's unacceptable. It's a bad habit picked up from two years of it not mattering because he didn't play enough anyway.

*One thing you have to give to Briscoe is that it seems the kid has a great attitude. His body language and effort seems consistent whether he has 2 or 20 points. A shooting slump like what he has gone though would have mind touched a lot of players

*This team simply cannot take mental breaks during the game, we just don't get enough easy buckets to do that.

*Whats the percentage of charges called when Alex catches it in the post, turns his back to a defender and takes the "dribble hop"? 90? Maybe 100.

The guards seem to be finding themselves. Briscoe in particular has been outstanding the last two games and continues to be a defensive force. Murray has developed into one of the better guards in the country and his shot selection is improving. Ulis is Ulis.

With that said, we can't have 8 turnovers from Murray/Ulis.

It's the frontcourt again. It's not like these guys merely suck at times, they don't even show up.

Good to see Skal get a few lobs. Baby steps. At this point, gaining confidence is important.

I'm already sick and tired of the sillyass "macho" techs this team has picked up. It'd be different if we were good enough to back it up. Ulis's ******** let them right back in the game.

I don't trust this team at all. 12-4 at best in the SEC. With that said, glad we have two more months to get better.

It's a confidence thing so yeah, I take any little thing positive as a step in the right direction.

He wasn't great, but early in the year, even in the game against Duke, at least he contributed. We need all the help we can get in the frontcourt.

Briscoe seriously needs to try something different at the foul line. Shoot off to the side like Lamb? Or underhanded granny style? Over his head? Anything is better than what he is doing now. He looks like Charles Barkley swinging a golf club. It's just off, and never going to work.

What a ****** year in college basketball.

Need the NCAA to drop the hammer on UNC and UL.

Kansas to flame out. Duke to lose to a mid major in the tourney.

Hope some random team wins it or someone I don't hate wins it all.

Shitastic college bb season. Why can't UK have one of their monster teams when everyone else sucks?

I don't think it's just a confidence thing. I think some of it is he just sucks. He's probably self aware enough to know he sucks, but can't get his fingers out of his ****** long enough to do anything about it.

I didn't mean it's JUST a confidence thing. I mean confidence has a lot to do with him being awful instead of just mediocre right now. I would love even mediocre Duke game Skal at this point.

So, did Stan Kroenke's wealth come almost entirely from his marriage to a Walton?

Can you imagine having YOUR team move away? I feel so awful every time that happens...Twice now for St. Louis.

It doesn't matter how 'good' they are either, or if their fan base, facilities, etc are among the best or worst. I mean, imagine even if ****** UK Football moved away across the country and we were suddenly left with nothing to fill our fall/winters?

I realize it's a business at that level, but man that just sucks for real fans of those teams.

No. He is a billionaire on his own. He owns a massive amount of real estate. Probably doesn't hurt though that she's worth more than he is.

Well, yeah, after he married her, he built a huge real estate empire, but is that the fruit of his multi-billion dollar wife or did he come from money himself?
