I sympathize with Cal's substitution patterns this year. What one gives the other guy gives up? None of his teams have been quite like this In that regard. Guy plays great D but is brick city, guy has some offense but couldn't guard your mom. Hard to fit that into each game and go with what is best.

Ulis, Murray, Briscoe, Willis, Poythress is my starting lineup. Hawkins and Lee off the bench. Tweak w/Wynyard if necessary.

Every game a nonsense technical foul. Just give them points in a close game. Awesome.

For a guy with such a basic basketball deficiency, Briscoe is such an awesome player. So smart.

How many boards does Willis have? What an animal.

Scoring, rebounding, defense. Three of your basic basketball abilities. Willis is doing two of the three pretty well.

Dodged a bullet with that tech. Auburn had a shot at a 6 or 7 point possession and got 2. What a **** show.

Where the hell is Poythress? His MO is to disappear now and then but he's outright taken a huge step back this year and seemingly has zero confidence.

He has taken a step back because he's not playing next to Nerlens Noel or Julius Randle or WCS or Towns or even Dakari.

^ exactly why it cracks me up when people point out Willis when he gets scored on in his typical 8-11 minutes. [laughing]

Who "gives up" the other 70 points we give up every game while he's on the bench?

Alex was outstanding on defense. He got 1 touch that I can recall other than the dunk, blew it. Not sure what more he could do, given his talent...like I said earlier, sometimes it's unfair when people judge he & Lee by the box score.
