3 turnovers in the second quarter including a fumbled punt return in which Peterson had a wide open field to possibly make a huge play and at least get the offense in scoring range. Then again right after a big interception the very next play Carson does what Carson does and throws a pick right to a defender to go into the half when he was at worst in FG range.

I stopped watching at that point but 3 more picks in the 2nd Half is all I needed to see. 5 TOs by your QB will 99% of the time lose the game.

Carolina did their part and capatilized but the game was over at half. Arizona had plenty of chances in that 2nd quarter and gave it away with careless ball protection.

-You know what's worse than Rich constantly referencing you? Not posting in a thread you read minute by minute. Bonzo "acts" like he doesn't have time. Ok, Mr District of Columbia. Congrats on crushing your job, you're not that important. We all know you keep up with the thread daily. Drops some randos on occasion.

-Lol, at Geese saying I'm changing the bet. It was that Murray was a good pro prospect, he would crush here, and would be top 10 pick. Which part is not accurate? His draft stock has been pretty much the same since last summer. You kept arguing he couldn't play point or 2, he's slow, not athletic, too short. He was a tweener. I disagree, as do the scouts. BTW, Poythress got a bump from that ridiculous Duke game, it didn't take long for them to figure him out. Certainly by this time of year. We're almost to Feb and Murray's worst ball is behind him. No draft combine is going to save you.

Also, I can understand why you think I changed the conversation, probably because you don't let anyone finish a sentence. Maybe try participating in a conversation rather than crossing your arms, leaning back, smirking/squinting, giggling, and loudly/smugly talking over people. Interrupting mid sentence doesn't make you Hank Iba, just makes you rude.

Golden State and San Antonio - easily the best two teams in the NBA and both on pace to challenge the 72-win record - play their first game tonight ... on NBA TV. That's some good scheduling there.

It *really* hurts Anth he's not a top college basketball. Hang in there.

When you're sitting at a loud sports bar with 4 buds sitting next to each other in a row, you hear 2-3 different conversations flying across your head, typically at the same time. It's not Dudley's, bub. No low lighting, quiet environment where I stare deeply into your eyes and give credence to your over-analyzed takes 24/7. I'm sorry I strayed on your Buddy Hield/Jodie Meeks rant but other ppl trying to grab my attention makes it difficult sometimes. I'm trying to get my sour cream, order another beer, watch a game on the telly and catch up with my boy Bonzo.

We can do a 1on1 sometime soon and I promise I'll listen to everything you have to say, arms to my side, eyes wide open!

I can't wait until "Hoop and Stick" makes its big comeback when my kid is in preschool.
Probably happen.

There's (or course) local internet celebrities who show up at stores and do tricks on these things. The big news last week was that these were banned from school due to an "incident" per the 3rd grade scuttlebutt.

Not sure what the incident was other than dozens of elementary school kids carrying around wooden hammers with a spike on top and a cue ball swinging from it and nature taking its course.

Never thought Rob's ladder would be replaced as Gyero's favorite inanimate object, but Pope's boat dock roof is making a strong run in early 2016.

On behalf of myself and the thousands of other afflicted Lake Cumberland boaters, we wish you much misfortune and heartache this year as well.

May you walk the earth restless.

My brother is 11 and has been doing the kendamas thing. I was trying just to get the ball on the cup and he was throwing the thing in the air and spinning it on his finger. It looked like a mix of yo-yo and nunchucks so I gave up.

With a name like Edward Edwards that guy had no choice but to be a serial killer.

How pissed is Sarah Koenig that she didnt find the Avery case and ultimately she settled for an awful season 2 story-line?

If I'm not mistaken the good doctor's boat had to have a special wide load permit just to get from the dealership to the water, 0% chance anyone would do that every winter.

Larry Conley turned 72 yesterday. Makes me feel old. Damn, he was good on tv. Crisp voice. Pointed out the game within the game without being condescending.

" Niceee passsssss."

I'm no boat but shouldn't you take the boat out of the water during the winter if you're not going to use it?

You just winterize it. Most cruisers over 28 feet can't be pulled with a standard truck. Pretty expensive to haul them out. Funny the covered slip is supposed to be protective and a discount on the insurance.

mardi gras season has officially begun. highlight of the annual krewe de vieux parade friday night was the float of mayor mitch landrieu laying on his back, with an erect penis, the shaft of which was the base of the robert e lee statue he recently decided to take down, and the top of which was an actual penis head, as opposed to the sculpture of general lee on his horse (as you would see in the real thing).

pretty legit. yay, satire.

king cakes and warm weather for all.

Win by double digits twice this week and with all the losses around the country we stay at #19 in coaches poll [laughing]

Gary Parish, in his cute little top 25 (and one) poll doesn't even have UK ranked

Lol. I'm good, pal. Trust me, the setting had nothing to do with it. I don't think there is a louder place on the planet that Dudleys bar on a weekend evening. Maybe Tulip, thats about it. Had perfectly normal conversations with everyone else. Keep inflating your basketball and trying to be too cute.

Your history of projecting players speaks for itself. Don't really need to say anything else.

BIL is working out at Mercato, the new Italian place from Mr. Martinez that's opening in a week or two. He spent the entire week in training, tasting every dish, etc -- having seen the menu & pictures of every single dish, fairly certain it's going to be :fire::fire::fire:

PTI(pti) is warm lol. That's crazy.

If we can get a Key West update from Rogue today, we should be set until tomorrow with this daily game.

Anyone keeping UK out of the top 25 right now is either a moron or a troll. We're not great but neither is anyone else.

His contention that UK has as many Kenpom top 50 wins as losses outside of the top 50 is asinine because it disregards the existence of home court advantage. He, like most other media types who rank teams, knows home court advantage exists, but he refuses to apply it in a meaningful fashion. That bias exists because applying such critical thinking is much more difficult than recycling cliches, narratives, and tropes.

Meh, UK is a top 25 team THIS year by any measure, at least right now.

Doesn't mean we're very good, but that's just a fact.

I thought you just like lifted the boat up out of the water. I've seen these things in TV. They're like garages for your boat. They utilize simple machines like pulleys and levers to lift your boat out of the water and safely store it. I just assumed any boat worth a **** did this. I'm starting to wonder if Doc Boat is really all he's cracked up to be.

So if Duke gets run at Miami tonight do they fall out of the top 25 or move up?

[laughing] @ IU's schedule to get them ranked ahead of us.

Some scuttlebutt:

--- Calipari on cloud nine right now about the team and where they are. I think he is a little shocked that things have worked out as well as they have with Derek Willis getting all these minutes as I know he didnt see it coming. But he is the kind of stretch four on offense that Calipari teams always do the best when they have (like Terrence Jones or Julius Randle in theory). His defense is an issue but the coaches think there aren't too many college 4s that can really beat you off the dribble and his length can offset some of his deficiencies against guards on the switch. I would expect to see the small lineup with he and Alex at the five a lot.

--- I think UK gets Marques Bolden...which is kind of insane. Lose Alex, Jamal, Tyler and maybe Marcus (potentially to a grad transfer thing). Skal and Briscoe up in the air...with Skal leaning towards going and Briscoe leaning towards staying. But all of that could change.

--- Football vibe SIGNIFICANTLY better in the last couple of weeks. Players seem to like the new hires and universally everyone thinks this is their best recruiting class by far. I am told UK likely keeps everyone except maybe one kid (whose name I wasn't told) but this could be a very happy Signing Day around there.

--- I predict a major sh**storm around some folks tomorrow when the Bevin budget is released. Major cuts coming, and education gets a big chunk gone from what I am told. Even though I am on the other side, I can't get mad. People knew what would happen and voted for him anyway...I think if they complain now, thats on them...and on the Democrats for nominating such a blah candidate against him.

--- Dealing with Trump people to get him on the show is hilarious. They are nice but they honestly don't know what he will do hour by hour. Must be something else to be a part of. Hope to get him on in the next two weeks and legitimately think it will happen.

You guys are still the only message board/comment place I read on the internet. Keep crushing it

Was kinda hoping for #scuttlebutt on the whores and any kendama incidents in elementary schools, hopefully both being unrelated #scuttlebutts.
