To be fair, John Wall also had Cousins, Patterson, Bledsoe, etc. on the team. He didn't have to put up 20+ a night for THAT team to win. He only scored 20+ like 6 or 7 times all season.
This team can't win without Ulis and the guards putting up 45-50 a night. And Ulis is playing fantastic. He has to because this team can't win with him having a subpar game. Lot of pressure on the kid and he's handling it well.

Brandon Knight had 4 20/5 games his Freshman season. He would've been my first guess because he looked to score, and that team needed his scoring. Surprised he didn't have more but his assist numbers always hovered around 4. He had a lot of near misses.
If this year's Ulis solely ran last year's team, he'd average 12+ assists a game.

Liking Tyler Ulis may be one of the least controversial positions to take in years. Right up there with hating cancer or ISIS.
Just imagine if Ulis could shoot over someone.

* Miami is pretty athletic at all spots on the court, and Slowpoke Rodriguez was dealing last night. The exact type of team I fear in March.
Thankfully SportsCenter showed A-Rod courtside coat-tailing off this little Hurricane run, so makes it that much easier to despise them while bringing back warm feelings of hate for him.
* Speaking of March, will be popping my Vegas NC2A tournament cherry this year and first time on the strip since 2000.
Rolling out for the S16 weekend. Sports book, GAMBOL, clothing optional pools :cool2:. Have to pull up stakes early for Easter Sunday, but I'm sure after 3 full it'll be a welcome exit.
Also, who gives a f*k if Vegas has a hiring standard for cocktail server looks? First, when was this news and even if some yentas try to make it news, it's no different than dozens of other professions that do the same but just don't wear it as a badge of honor. bonzo sure has taken a lot of heat lately, but his stock is surging. he's killing it professionally, appears to be having the occasional sex, traveling, living the high life...
