Wait- why are we using the Detroit Lions' head as our mascot? Is a lion a wildcat? Can a wildcat be a lion? Do birds have teeth?
Basketball unis are fine. I actually like the new font on there.

Football unis are about what I expected. Whatever. Don't understand the bar along the pants, but again, whatever.

I was expecting something bad, but that's worse than I imagined. The reversible YMCA league jersey thing is embarrassing. The checker **** is lame. Seriously, they spent more time on the presentation than they did the designs which appear to be borrowed from previous ****, and other teams. Truly uninspiring and generic ********, imo. I can't believe we pay for this ****.

The new mascot properly honors all the dead Indians/ghosts buried under Commonwealth Stadium, imo.
Football threads arent much different, its whatever. Basketball kit they are wearing one time is fine.

That's what the secondary logo reminds me of. That thing didn't bother me nearly as much as all the patches and **** on the front of the jersey. SEC NIKE UK KENTUCKY 16. That's just way too much. Let's add Golden Flake, KFB, and Old Folks Country Sausage if we're gonna stick a million patches/logos on there. Make some more money.
What amazes me is that millions of dollars were spent to come up with a new logo and a bunch of minor aesthetic changes. My boys could've drawn a dang Ghostfirecat in about five minutes.
Yeah, in the end i can deal with everything BUT the wildcat logo ruins it. It's just bad, no other way around it.

The Wildcat looks silly but oh well. I think the jerseys are all pretty solid.
I actually like the Wildcat head logo. It is modern, aggressive and athletic and has a shape that conveys speed and motion.
I think the pants stripe needs the checkerboard pattern as well. The odd wide solid panel doesn't match anything else.
And there are too damn many patches on the front top of the jersey.
The basketball uni was sharp. I wouldn't have been mad at some striping or something on the sides or bottoms of the shorts, though.

I do like the fact that they got rid of the stripe down the middle of the helmet.

FFS, some of you are obnoxious little bitches about this. I don't like them by any means, but they're not dramatically worse than anything else we've worn since the Brooks era. Our uniforms have sucked for a while now, like our team. Some of you won't be happy until we go back to plain blue mesh jerseys, white pants, and block K white helmets. That, plus our illustrious history, will REALLY get the kids fired up to come here.

Take it as read that you have to come up with a "wildcat head" logo to be stitched on uniforms, etc., and try and come up with a description that doesn't sound like the Thundercats logo or K-State's powercat.
There are only so many ways to draw the profile of a cat head with its mouth open.

Yes, but this was planned and we spent millions on the redesign. The LSU thing was a ridiculous fluke and spontaneous and terrible, and just one of those crazy *** things. This redesign was PLANNED. After a terrible season. After a parking pass hike. After another season ticket hike.

The redesign of our logo was excruciating. They were pushing for a similar type of change. I held my ground though, no way Jose. You can make the bear less sweaty and more real looking but I'm not going with a polar bear stick figure thing. Seriously though, 3 months and at least 200 designs.

At least the blue helmet is closer to the jersey blue. As long as we abandon the blueberry look forever I guess it's not too bad.
