Stop talking about banners coming down. The NCAA conveniently skipped right over Cuse's banner season when punishing them. It's not happening.

Agreed Jacob, but that's one of the NCAAs biggest problems. I understand that they wouldn't have a winner those years but dang, it just screams "Cheat REALLY well and you keep your banner!" which is obviously the most prized possession of any university. Fine the university umpteen million dollars and take away a championship or two and ADs will be all over compliance.

Did hear the announcers add one coherent nugget to the game today, at practice Cal has the court marked with X's well beyond the 3 point line where he wants them standing to catch a kickout on the wing. He doesn't want them hugging the line because the defender can recover. Wants them a few feet further back to make a defensive recovery much more difficult. I'm sure this isn't new because Aaron Harrison was always deep on the wing, but I found it interesting nonetheless.

Well, this 'birds in the missionary position' on the logo can't be unseen... It's like an easier version of one of those optical illusion pictures.

Nope. The birds touching are hilarious and true.

Saying it looks like K State is just incorrect.

Call me a prude when it comes to avian sex visualization, I guess.

The Rorschach test on this logo will always be "cat head" for me.

This was my question to Cal after the game about stall ball:

Basically he's gonna always do it and when it doesn't work it's because the players screwed it up.

Q. The game was never really in doubt, but it did get a little bit tighter than it maybe should've. It seems like this team struggles at the end with shortening the game. Is that something that when they learn how to make winning plays will help, or is it something that you can correct?

JOHN CALIPARI: Well, the game got close because we broke down on defense, and they executed the crap out of some lobs, some back doors, some different play, offensive rebounded twice, and all of a sudden you look around and it's 14. And when you're up that many points, you're going to massage it and take a shot late. If you can get it in transition, you do. If you don't, you grind it out. And that's why historically my teams get up 20, they win.We didn't do it at Tennessee. We shot quick shots. We broke down defensively. We didn't come up with any tough rebounds, and all of a sudden it went from 20 to 4. This thing never got under 14, and so I thought our kids did good. I like how they responded. 10 turnovers in a game. You know, we had a couple games there we were 14, 15 turnovers. We're not going to win because that's another three or four baskets for that other team.

I'm just waiting for Buffalo and Houston to rollout their new uniforms since they seem to always end up with the same style. Given that Houston is the cougars, they could have an aviary sex secondly logo soon as well.

Illinois State knocks off Wichita. Gives us another good win(Top 50).

- All I've heard on the national board is good things about our uniforms. Many top 5 mentions.

That does hurt but can't say that I blame him. Now can Stoops find someone competent to replace him.

Cowgill is a UT alum. Plus he's worse than Crawford as far as towing the Floyd St. company line and from his twitter timeline over the years, partially illiterate and incapable of stringing together that many sentences, so not him.

-Smoked Buffalo Wings on the Egg
-Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls
-Spicy Hummus w/ ORGANIC Sea Salt Quinoa Straws (actually really awesome)

-Thoughts on GAMBOL? Favorite props?

Will be rooting for Peyton, but pretty impossible/dumb to bet against Cam & the Panthers at this point, I feel like.

So UofL finds out on Thursday that something is terribly wrong....terribly wrong enough that President Ramsey calls an urgent press conference within 24 hours to ban the current team from postseason play. Basically the **** hit the fan, and they are doing whatever they can to minimize the damage. That UofL fans can't understand this is mind boggling. It's going to get worse (didn't think it would, but it is), and this could just be the tip of the iceberg. Ramsey knows it and Jurich knows it. Pitino is still in denial. But it's going to get wayyyyy worse than just this season's ban. It sucks for the players, but it sucked for the UK players in 1988. It sucked for the Syracuse players last season. **** happens. Deal with it.

Losing Ansley sucks but Jordan Griffin and Davonte Robinson are supposedly "all-in" on UK.

The Reed angle could be a good one to take, players would love it and Stoops is a strong DBs guy so he could hire someone new to coaching and not hurt.

The only thing that gives me hope is the Denver defense is probably the best the Panthers will see this year. Once Seattle pulled their heads out of their ***, they shut them down. If Denver gets in Cam's *** early, I think it's going to be a hell of a game.

<- fully expects the opposite since the Panthers are a divisional rival.

What is obviously frustrating UL fan the most is they were 100% confident that everything dirty in CBB was at UK and their program was this perfect angle that wouldn't ever stoop to the level of cheating.

And I'm going to twist the knife as much as humanly possible on every fan I encounter of theirs.

Well Griffin and Robinson signed an LOI, so it's really not up to them if they are all-in for this year
