Official consultation today for surgery. Apparently I do a lot of things the doctor wasn't pleased with. The achillies was 100% ripped off my heel and has recessed 2 inches into my leg about where my ankle is.
Asked the Dr if there was any damage to my ankle too because when I stretch, and he flipped the F out on me. Apparently you don't stretch once hurt even if you feel multiple knots in your calf.

Well today is National Squirt Day.
Never laughed, just couldn't do what was asked as far as not "working" however my employer set me up with a laptop and a printer at home so I could continue doing a big portion of my job.

Welp, got one interesting tidbit from my meeting with Facebook's COO and CFO - they are working on some Artificial Intelligence that will replace DocBoat. Yep. Developing AI that can read pics of melanoma, X-Rays, basically anything a radiologist does. No word yet on whether the AI will have a cheesedick personality or hot tub penchant built in.

There has been recognition software around for a while. It's not bad, but it's also not great. Not too worried about being replaced by a computer anytime soon. Cardiologists still do fine even though the machines analyze the rhythms.

Social media companies. They create these days to drive traffic to social networks and increase ad impressions. It's like the greeting card companies on steroids. Instead of inventing Mother's Day to sell greeting cards in the second quarter, they invent random fun days on a regular basis so people will post pictures on the internet and comment about it.
