What do consultants really do? I think that might be my career goal. So abstract. And so expensive.

Generally, compile background and research on topics so boring/uninteresting that others would rather pull their fingernails out than spend another moment considering. Then, present that info in laymans terms (along with the boring, detailed junk) with a recommendation without putting those who want the info to sleep.

Like anything else... positives and negatives.

Why would Jurich ever leave Louisville? He has a tighter grip on that town than Brad Wesley had on his in "Road House."
Near total control of the America's City #43 pales in comparison at just being in the game in City #2.

Not to mention the life to be had in LA as a big kahuna at USC.

Rookie season pre All-Star:

Davis 27.8m, 12.5p, 7.5r, .9a, 1.2s, 1.9b, 51FG% 70FT%

Towns 30.1m, 17.1p, 10.1r, 1.4a, .6s, 1.8b, 54FG% 85FT%

I think he has now separated himself from Porzingas for ROY, especially since Porzingas has cooled off in 2016, averaging around 11 per game, bringing his PPG down to 13.7 for the season, while KAT has stayed consistent with his usual double double most games.

Both the 4 letter and the Turner post game crews say this is the best performance by a rookie since Shaq, and Shaq came out after his Sophomore year, while being unparalleled physically.

Sooner then later Cal, while at UK, will have put 3 of the top 5 big men in the NBA, Cousins, A Davis and Towns.

No way he leaves Louisville in chaos. That program is pretty much his baby, going on 20 years now.

In other news, Rick Barnes just took his name out of consideration for the USC job.

Would not shock me in the least if Tomma had his boys put out this false info just to take the focus off Pitino's antics and Powell's interview at least a little bit.
Yep total diversion. But the minions ate it up.

Sometimes get the feeling Jurich has a few Suge Knight moves in him at some point for those who betray him...

Seems to rule his kingdom in a similar fashion (intimidation, and I'm sure threats), just on much whiter scale. No doubt in my mind he'd kill (the career) of someone who betrayed him....

...unless they can help him win some ballgames, of course.

This ends with him on a hotel balcony holding Eric Crawford over the street by his ankles?

Nah, just saying their tactics I'm sure are pretty similar -- Just Suge in a street/gangster/human life way, and Tomma in a professional/business/career way.

^^^Awesome. Owen already has a sweet stroke from the corner and the Air'n Harrison wing on his Fischer-Price hoop. He's ready to ball out if the time comes. People don't always realize, but those moments/videos make all the parents/brothers/sisters of kids with special needs feel like there are people in the world who are going to care and be watching for their loved one when they're not around. Your biggest fear is the people out there who might want to tell your kid to get lost or god forbid to bully them. The idea that there are going to be coaches, teachers, admins, and other kids at school with this kind of mentality is huge for us.

you guys nailed it, this Jurich-USC thing is a complete invention. I think the motivation isnt a mole hunt but just deflection in case UL fan starts to direct their intense anger about the postseason ban his way, as they did towards Ramsey last Fri/Sat.

And yeah he ain't leaving until he firmly secures his SAE-thrashing boy to succeed him. Unlike Pitino with his spawn, Jurich has a decent chance at passing the crown.

Thursday Randoms:

- Love the "Louisville's in the midst of a special season" narrative like they're so ragtag group of overachievers or an elite contender getting they're season ripped away from them. Yeah, they would've had a shot at the F4...just like about 40 other teams this year. What makes them any different than anyone else? Well done PR, though, getting the talk away from prostitutes and on NCAA injustice.

- Jeeezus...this is the Jams Murray I've been waiting on all season. Dude has been lethal. I knew it was coming, just hope he can keep it going consistently for another 50 days or so.

- We're not better without Poythress, but this just shows when our guards are all playing well, our bigs don't really matter all that much. That's how good our guards are. Still, you have to hope we get Poy back soon AND Labissiere still has a mini-leap in him.

- A&M just SECWesting it right now. Hating on its own prosperity.

- Reading that DraftXpress article, sounds like Briscoe will take a long, hard look at the NBA. I hope he comes back. As good as we'll be, an experienced ballhandler who makes everyone better AND can D up anyone would be a godsend on that team. Already accepted that Ulis is gone.

- Gotta admit, I was impressed with that 39-year-old booty going up those steps at Rupp Tuesday night. Never said Spake wasn't attractive. Just said she wasn't worthy of her GYERO hype...and she's not.

- Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm going to the ballet tomorrow night- "Cinderella." Never been to the Aronoff before. Grabbing dinner at Sung Korean Bistro beforehand. Any Korean dish recs? It's a cool place but I've never eaten there. Noticed some hot bowl things?

- Nice stretch from National Title Favorite-North Carolina the last two weeks. Impressive.

- I don't think I give Megan Fox enough credit. Every time I see that babe in something I'm floored by how dope she is.

- I want to say Notre Dame is my tourney sleeper as I love Demetrius Jackson, their shooters (Vasturia/Beachem) and even their bigs (Colson/Auguste) but their D is bad. How bad? 239 in adjD bad.

- No, honey, I don't want to run a 10K the Sunday of St. Patricks Day/SEC Tournament weekend. Learn Chad.

- I hate that PTI(pti) and Tiff enjoy where they live. Really burns me up.

- I love the Lenten season- both for when it falls and what it represents.

I really think schools - kids, in particular - have come a long way with how they treat people with disabilities.
I'm a dozen years out of high school at this point, but I can tell you that you're right, at least when it comes to the other students. I never had a problem with any of them, never felt discriminated against in any way.

Now the adults were a different story, as getting certain physical accommodations was like pulling teeth, and we lost the battle (albeit in the summer of 1998) when the powers that be decided I needed to be in special ed. I know the adults have gotten better in the almost 20 years since my experience, only because there was nowhere to go but up.

Still holds true today, btw. Any time I have a bad cripple day, it's usually because of something people 20+ years older than me did. People in my generation and younger *get* it when it comes to that stuff.

The NBA All-Star Weekend has been pretty whack for like ever, but back in the day, as a kid the dunk and 3-point contest were appointment viewing on a Saturday night.

A Booker/Curry duel in the 3 point contest might force me to watch.

Younger people today, generally speaking, may treat those with disabilities better- but they pretty much treat everyone else like ****. High school kids are the worst.

I totally agree. I think this is the best time by far to be alive with Down syndrome or any developmental disability. Crazy to think they were still putting people in facilities less than 30 years ago.

Looks like he hit that three right before time expired, too. Clutch.

I know some of the Millennial PC mumbojumbo is annoying, but I do appreciate the attention given to bullying and acceptance these days. I think that's a good message for kids. You're always going to deal with jerks, but as an adult you realize just how cool it is to have a diverse group of friends, people who are different than you.

Enjoy, Chad -- you'll enjoy the night way more than you think you will.

Korean:

Bibimbap
Bulgogi
Wings
...or pick some kind of BBQ platter that you grill yourself at your table.

Korean food is underrated, and probably the healthiest you can eat out.

-Maybe SAE chime in with wardrobe suggestions. Unlike a typical play, Ballet is a bit more sophisticated, at least it is here.

He didn't join the staff until April 2013. Not sure that timing checks out?
May be mistaken but I didn't think she started mentioning coach Mike until the end when things started to escalate and demands became too much. I thought she said at first it was just Andre. Which would fit the timeline.
