Zags have too much for Texas Tech right?

Purdue is interesting for Virginia tonight.

[BKH34]

So weird for one of Cal’s UK teams playing for a F4 completely under the radar. Auburn is even getting more shine than us.

Playing right into John's hands, tbh.

[UKStoleMyFish]

Rewatching the game, and Keldon Johnson cracks me up. Dude yells “and one!!!” every time he shoots. Pretty sure I heard him do it while shooting a free throw.

Zags are too much for TT. Honestly think they’re the best team still left. Love Beard, though.

Virginia should handle Purdue... but they should’ve handled UMBC.

Other than pretending to care about chickball, what are Louisville fans doing this weekend?

[BBdK]

Brandon Clarke has blocked more shots (115) than he’s missed FG (114) this season.

That’s an incredible stat.

[Col. Angus]

Those are some beautiful quads.

[UpstateNYCat]

Same thing UNC,Vols,LSU,etc... fans are doing.

[OnUK]

F*ck the SEC chant imo. Guarantee those auburn birches were whooping and hollering for Houston like crazy during our game. The entire sec can eat a dick.

Don't overthink it. Solely for pouring an entire carton of salt into the gaping baby blue wound. That moment will stick with more than a few of them for life.

[Century Cat]

Love the fact that by the time we tip tomorrow UK will be one of 6 teams still standing for the crown.

I prefer to get business done early.

In years past, I have actually heard UNC fans say "we lasted longer than you did" even though they went out in the same round, but played a day later.

[wildcat1973_rivals160373]

I'd rather play the last games. Keeps the tournament more interesting. More anticipation. Keeps the dream alive longer in case of a loss. Etc.

[Kennedy_UK]

Hard not to like TTU’s defense, and think they have the ability to slow down the Zags. Just not sure they have enough points to pull out the W.

Absolutely, Chances of me watching anything tonight if we lost last night would be almost nil. I would have watched Duke tomorrow hoping for a loss.

[Ron Mehico]

What a high level game - Zags extremely impressive this year, think they’re best team left and only one that returns all that experience from championship game two years ago.

Also Reggie Miller is awesome

[cawoodsct]

Men crush

[_Chase_]

Even more impressive that Tyler Herro played with one arm.

[Century Cat]

Feels weird rooting for another 1-seed / favorite, because usually they're an enemy or a threat to our historic supremacy.

Not the case here. Go Zags.

[tallkat70]

Brought this up before, but Louisville fans and some of the Louisville media referred to their 1997 DeJuan Wheat team as making the "Final Five" because it was the last game of the day. I'll give UofL some credit, a non-existent accomplishment is banner worthy at UNC and Kansas.

[Century Cat]

Good points. I get that. It's also nice to tcob and sit back and watch everyone else sweat it out. (98 and 12 FFs are good examples - euphoria).

In summary, I guess I'm just happy to still be playing. (I don't care when we play, just don't call me late for dinner LOLOL).

[cawoodsct]

How many elite 8’s has John Calipari taken Kentucky to in 10 years?

[Wrong]

I don’t think mentally I could watch Duke squeak by after Izzo blows it again against K then watch our game. Glad it’s first.

[august-west]

Gat dayum its fun watching a game like this. Two teams just throwing haymakers, up and down the floor, the refs basically letting them play, and i honestly don't care who wins. It sure as hell beats a 1/9 seed playing for a shot at the FF

[Century Cat]

I feel like Izzo is due. Well, he's way overdue, and K owns him, but I think he gets this one.

Duke is begging to get beat, they're just waiting for a team good enough to finish them off.

[SWFLwildcat06]

Tech is controlling this game. Very impressed.

[BernieSadori]

WOP is taking over.

[legalbeagle123]

Sparty/Duke gonna have their hands more than full with Tech.

Goodness.

[Kennedy_UK]

:eyes:

[cawoodsct]

Higgins just missed that call

[legalbeagle123]

Higgins just missed that call

Goatlicker

[wildcat1973_rivals160373]

Nice kicked ball.

[wcc31]

:joy: Higgins RIGHT THERE and misses the kicked ball. He’s awful.

[cawoodsct]

Missed the out of bounds call before that.

[august-west]

Not sure that was "technically" a kicked ball

Spoiler

Higgins can still EAD

[MrKentucky]

Well, that’s an anticlimatic ending.

[august-west]

Welp, that is a really ****** way to lose a game

[BBdK]

Wow, what a game; Chris Beard man. Elite 8 & Final 4 (with 2 entirely different rosters) in his first three seasons at Texas touching Tech.

Unreal.

[wcc31]

Missed the out of bounds call before that.

Yeah it evened out but he’s garbage.

[wildcat1973_rivals160373]

They lost it before that...but still. Can't touch the guy out of bounds. Automatic.

[wcc31]

Beard good enough to coach here now? Impressive. Wow.

[legalbeagle123]

UCLA gonna poach him from Lubbock?

[BLUEHILLS]

Sean Sutton!

[UKStoleMyFish]

F’ing Beard.

What a coach, man.
