Wife got me a record player. I’ve been holding off because I know my addictive tendencies, going have to put myself on a monthly pitch count on # I can buy.

She did alright. Got me a Special Edition Miles/Coltrane Last Tour. Needed couple things so I ordered Blues Showdown & VH 1 to start the process. Going be mostly used for awhile.

My FIL thought it would be hilarious to get my 3 year old an electric drum set. Currently fighting off a migraine. Merry Christmas everyone

Got my two young nephews a drum set. Not the baby toy set either but a preteen, semi pro, complete setup that will last for years and Bonz would have been proud of. They have beat on those damn drums constantly since yesterday morning and was banging them as I happily walked out the door to head to the office this morning for a day of peace and quiet. My BIL sitting on the couch, giving me the stink eye as I headed out for the day, knowing what I did to them.

Soon, they will head back to Arkansas with the drum set that will give them years of headaches, and it pleases me. 😎🖕

The year 2024 saw us lose both of our 12-year-old rescue doggies. I probably wouldn't have moved this soon if left solely up to me, but wifey surprised me with two rescue puppies (brother and sister). They are lab/setter mixes and are wild as can be! I feel like Jack and Ralph would definitely want us to have more rescues to live on "their" farm. 🐕🐕

When’s the last time a coach left one program and started coaching another during the season? In power 5 men’s basketball?

Bill Frieder accepted the Arizona State job during the 1989 season while he was Michigan's HC, but he had planned to leave after the year. Bo Schembechler was the AD and wouldn't let him do that, which is why Steve Fischer took over late in the year and took them to a national title. That's the closest instance that I can recall.

Bill Frieder left Michigan for Arizona State before the 89 tournament, but I’m not sure he actually coached a game for them that year. Worked out great for Michigan, though!
