Meanwhile NC is close to removing the permit for concealed carry which I find incredibly dumb.

There is a lot of responsibility that comes with carrying a firearm and the training/understanding provided in those courses is immeasurable.

That's the issue now, there are no gray zones. It's either all the way in or all the way out.
I'm super pro 2nd Ammendment, but agree people should have training before carrying a sidearm with them.

The 1911 is such a great platform. More moving parts and somewhat of a difficult breakdown, but so dependable. Plus, we won two World Wars with them as our standard issue officers weapon. I have a newer one, but I dream of owning a pre-45 military issue.

Once you hold a Browning/FN Hi Power in your hand, no other handgun feels quite as comfortable…

Anyone else want to tell us about their gun?

Anyone else get their feet washed at the Holy Thursday evening deal?

Me neither. That probably really brings out the weirdos.

They’re really pushing the faith a lot more on today’s Catholic school kids, it seems. When I was in the system, it was kind of a byproduct, to be honest. Nowadays these kids are going to mass multiple times a week, adoration once a week. Confession once a month. ****, I’ve never been to adoration, and I haven’t been to confession in 25 years. And I don’t plan to anytime soon, lol. I have **** I can’t confess.

I talked to the big turtle today, tho.

Emilio Pagan, eat my ***.

If I wasn’t a successful businessman, I’d love to be this guy. Game was turbo. Unreliable since no way I ever missed but I wanted to fistfight all of these effin queefs. The game designers too.

Got reservations to Massara NYC Saturday. Second restaurant in town by Stefano Secchi. We’ve been to Rezdora 4x… onto Campania.

Speaking of Catholic dogma, I would’ve loved to take the wife to Italy this year for our 30th. Had Sardinia scouted… alas, I was stiffed annual bonus by the stupid bone-blowers in Atlanta. Jubilee year and ALL the relics are out for pilgrimage viewing. Super interesting. Have to wait another 25 years. 👎🏻😭

My little son is Pontius Pilate in Stations of Cross thing tomorrow night at church. He was pissed when he was assigned his role. 🙏🏻

Saw The (Allman) Brothers at MSG Tuesday. Warren Haynes and Derrick Trucks wilding for 3.5 hours on the guitar was a treat. The Allmans are easily the best USA rock band. Tunes just stand up.

Making Pizza Chiena for Easter dinner at brothers. Actually ok for my current diet. Protein packed! This dudes’ recipe is close to my family’s. I do it in a springform pan…wife went to a store 30min away to acquire the good stuff.

I got to see them a couple of times before Gregg kicked out. Last time Derrick Trucks and Warren Haynes were both with them. Gov't Mule opened up and Haynes played solo between sets while they changed out. Dude literally played guitar for 5 or 6 hours straight, just a phenom on the six string.

Love the ABB, my favorite rock band of all time.

Between 2000-2002 you could catch me at the fish tank Monday/Wednesday playing the Allmans between all the Grateful Dead songs that place was known for.

Dusty Rhodes and Midnight Rider introduced me to that band and my goodness I’ve spent several drunken and or stoned nights just listening to songs like Rambling Man, Melissa, Whipping Post, Jessica and In memory of Elizabeth Reed.

If that is your favorite band I got mad respect for that. Definitely one of if not the most overlooked “rock” guitar bands ever!

Saw the Allman Bros a few times in the early 90’s, the last time at Riverbend in 95. They ended the set with “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed” with a “St. Stephen” jam in memory of Jerry Garcia who had died a few months earlier. Live at the Fillmore East may be my favorite album of all time.

Pretty wild that we spent 3 years looking forward to DJ being the next great one and done Cal PG who would bring us back to glory and he's going to end up playing 3 years at Arkansas.

It’s the right decision for all of them but it’s still frustrating to see calipari retain basically an entire team for the first time in 18 years once he leaves Kentucky. Guess the Kentucky effect is real ??

Penelope Road is my new favorite “underground” band. They’re getting pretty big on IG now. Really good old school folksy/soul group from Georgia. What zbb was 20 years ago.

Speaking of zbb, they’re releasing a sublime tribute album. Haven’t heard anything other than a clip of Santeria but Zac nails it imo. A step in the right direction for a band that really fell off a decade ago.

He's returning Wagner, Brazille, and Richmond. Not exactly a full team.

Cal, after being ranked in the top 15 preseason with the number 1 5th year senior portal player, got a 10 seed and had a miracle run to the sweet sixteen (that Hank was cheering for). The way they lost was very cathartic and I feel that was probably the best if not one of the best teams he’ll field there so I’m pretty much moved on from Cal.

Also I feel we have like 12 pretty good players for our team next year but rafters seems to be in panic mode about adding another player, what am I missing? Maybe I’m too high on Chandler for next year? He was a top 25 HS player and really came on at end of the year after missing 2 years. Feel like he’s going to explode.

I didn't watch them a ton but did Brazille and Richmond start? I know they were both playing well down the stretch. Seems like a pretty typicaloff-season for Cal. Lost Adou, Z, and maybe Knox.

- The Stojakovic kid is the dream addition, but I just don't see it, from his POV. Can't see him taking a reduction in minutes (and volume), when he could basically name his price and his school at this point. Could see the Tyson kid jumping at the chance to be used in that Brea role, ideally. I don't think we're desperate for another player, just in need for one more true floor-spacer more than anything.

- Cal's roster will end up being *fine*, but he'll probably end up with another scarcity of shot-makers....just drivers and athletes.

- Guess it's time to start paying attention to the NBA. The Pistons made the playoffs? What? That was an impressive turnaround.

- Haven't been to the movies in a long time, but I'd like to see the final "Mission: Impossible" on a big screen, as God intended. Trying to work my way through the whole series in the lead-up.

- Got a last-minute opportunity to open for Dustin Nickerson last night at Comedy Off Broadway. He's been one of my favorites for a while. Couldn't have been nicer. Always good to chop it up before a show with a pro, and watch him at work. Fun night.

Aidoo and Davis was a SR's, Thiero striking while the iron is hot going pro, Fland was always a one and done. If he gets Karter Knox back, that is solid roster retention, saying otherwise is just Cal hate.
Wagner
Knox
Brazile
Richmond
Adding Darius Acuff (#1 PG) and Meleek Thomas (#2 CG) from the high school ranks and Malique Ewing and Nick Pringle from the portal is a very solid 8 man roster. If they add a couple more solid portal pieces, they will be good.

Acuff
Wagner / Thomas
Knox / Richmond
Brazile / Pringle
Ewing / Pringle
#5 overall class / #1 in the SEC. Cal will find a way to lose 11-12 games and be a #8/9 seed, but they will be very dangerous. You can say they got lucky to get to the Sweet 16, but you can also say they was a little unlucky in reaching the Elite 8. half full / half empty.

I think that DJ, in the right system, is an excellent college pg. He hit some big 3’s for them and his ability to get in the paint and finish has improved tremendously. In fact, ARK got better when Fland went out and he ran the team. Obviously Cal was forced to also play others at their more natural positions which helped as well I like DJ a lot.

That said it’s BS that he, along with Richmond and Knox, is sticking around. No way they do that if it were here.

TJ McConnell being in the league for a decade and being a legit consistent bench piece is something else. Thought he’d be a cup of coffee dude. Nifty game.

It is on this night that we honor our dearly departed internet friend, buckethead. Internet murdered by JoeyRuppption, Easter Vigil, 2014. RIP.
Wow, haven't heard from those two guys in a while, and don't remember the incident. Can you please resurrect it?
