My daughter is a freshman and this was her first year playing volleyball. She’s way behind obviously, but it’s actually an enjoyable sport to watch. I’m very impressed with the skill level of some of these HS girls. It is infinitely better to watch than girls trying to simply dribble and miss an easy layup in basketball. Apologies to the WNBA. Agreed, Matt on KSR brought up a good thought that his best-case scenario would be 6 wins then Stoops decides to go elsewhere on his own.

If he got to 6 wins, that would help his future job prospects and there will be a lot of revolving doors in coaching this offseason so plenty of opportunities will be in play.

What is sad is, a few lucky bounces, a few made plays, a few less coaching brain farts, and this team is sitting at 5-3, a lock for a bowl bid. BUT, his and the staffs coaching blunders are directly responsible for those 2 losses (Texas / Ole Miss). UK played their asses off against Texas, terrible coaching be damned. At worst, should be 4-4. Could of, should of, etc, has gotten old. Who should be the starting QB at the beginning of the year is a HUGE red flag in the talent evaluation and who SHOULD be playing. I am sure that is not the only position they have effed up. Mix in just dumbasss in game decisions and that is enough to see that change is needed. "WTF are we doing ?", the players knew it from the jump. If the players do not know what TF is going on, how can the coaches ?

Would you rather have them playing against Nicholls State of WTF it is and risk further injury, or sit out get 100% for the long haul ? I mean if it was UL, sure get out there, but Nicholls State ? Give me the extra few days to fully heal and play the long game. Should they throw JQ out there also ? I mean I am sure he is making way over the $1 million. It didn't seem like last year was a good idea to rush people back.

They're also Auburn having one competent NAIA level QB from being 2-6. The what if game always works both ways.

Other than the Vol game, they're avg. 12.5 ppg in 4 of their last 5 games.

Their is zero justification to keep Stoops, even w/ a miracle finish. Should have been fired 3 yrs ago, 2 yrs ago, last year, and 3 weeks ago.
