Kind of impressed how bad Cinci has been since Callahan left. Hoping for the best in Tennessee, eventually!

Welp, off bye week, game vs an opponent you can't take lightly but should beat, prepare to have soul crushed.

Fall weather means fall meals. Shepherds Pie, Mac&Cheese casserole lace with sausage, Vegetable soup and biscuits, Spaghetti sauce, City Chicken aka breaded pork cubed on a skewer, Cheesy Chicken, etc. Yup, I'm fat and have given up.

Sad to say that I haven't been to Keeneland since last Breeders Cup, need to do something about it.

Man, I’m glad I’m not living in FL at this exact moment.

Our payroll director lives about 40 mi north of Fort Myers, one block off the beach, and just hit me with a “I don’t know if we are going to evacuate… my husband really doesn’t want to.”

Not sure it applies but old school gambol rule is to bet against a team coming off a UK win in basketball just because of the come down from all the excitement of beating UK basketball.

I’d imagine the same would apply to Vandy, although Pavia is a stone cold player at QB so who knows.

Does anyone have the clip of Stoops starting to give a speech against Louisville but the whole locker room is jamming to a rap song and he just proceeds to lead them out to whip some *** as Papa John's Stadium? I can never find it on youtube.

* A buddy and me went to the gun range yesterday and a woman was there by herself. A piece of hot brass bounced off the partion and got stuck in her sports bra, causing her to pitch a fit trying to shake it out. She was pretty cute and stacked, too.

I've never seen a more helpful response from a group of peckerwoods.

* We play our first basketball exhibition game in 16 days and Duke in 36.

Christmas Eve is nearly here.

Wouldn't have mattered if the FG for the Bengals had been from 30 yards. The FN place holder dick fingered it. Yes he was super conservative, but in todays world a 50 FG is fairly routine. Except when you have a dick fingering placeholder.

Trevin Wallace with a first NFL start ho hum game with 15 tackles, 10 solo. Not bad Rook.

Miami down 35-10 late in the 3rd, almost was another casualty of the Saturday Super upset schedule. They have came close 2 weeks in a roll (Damn near lost to Virginia Tech). Please Miami do not do this **** against Louisville in 2 weeks.

Louisville's remaining schedule - 2 home games and 5 road games (lol)
@ Virginia
Miami
@ BC
@ Clempson
@ Stanford
Pitt
@ UK
The 2 home games, the 2 best teams in the ACC. 10-2, playoff bound !!! Just kidding, 6-6. maybe.

Padres / Dodgers & Phillies / Mets has been some entertaining games.

I'm not saying we're gonna win our next five games. But I'm also not saying it's impossible that we do - especially if we play like we did against Ole Miss and Georgia. And I'm definitely not saying if we're 8-2 and heading to Austin to play for a spot in the College Football playoffs that I won't be there to witness it.

*Dude's an idiot if he doesn't. I can't believe anyone around the Fort Myers area would stay after Ian. That place still looks like it was nuked.

*My favorite vacation spot was blitzed by Helene and is on track to get destroyed by Milton.

*Speaking of, we should go back to naming all Hurricanes after women. Milton sounds like the name of a person asking their Senior Living nurse what kind of pudding is being served.

I seriously suggest we all take a damn vow of silence about that "event" until the game ends

I am like 80% serious when I say we have generated a psychic stink effect as a collectively TORTURED fanbase against "them"

We have to ignore that "event" and not speak of or acknowledge "it" until the game ends

Appreciate everyone's cooperation on this one --

Goose Givens is an American treasure. I effin love that guy.

That’s it. That’s the post.
My childhood hero. As a 12 year old I saw him hang that 41 in the Checkerdome, old St. Louis hockey barn.

In my adulthood, I've met him several times and once told him he was my childhood hero. I'd always wear 21 because of him.

Smooth as silk, humble and gracious as they come.

The man scored 41 in the title game vs Duke and hung the first banner post Rupp. He also helped take out an undefeated IU team in the Elite 8 as a freshman. He may be the greatest Wildcat of them all.
Plus, he and James Lee were key recruits for UK. Though not the first African-Americans at UK, they were both from Lex and must-gets as Joe B succeeded Rupp.

They announced together. Great pics and video from their joint press conference if you can find it.

UK Basketball would not be what it is today without those two.

It always amazes me how old 18 year olds look back then compared to now. Im sure life wasnt a walk in the park for those two in the 70s. They probably didnt encounter a lot of highlighted blowout tapers or painted nails on young men in those days.

Seemed like most any CBB team back in the late 70s and 80s always had a few players who looked like they were 40
years old. Especially IU and Georgetown.

Goose and Lee decided they were both going to UK immediately after the 1974 11th region championship game when BS beat HC. Two great players, role models, and citizens of Lex. I am great friends with Jack's younger brother and have talked to him quite often over the years.

Are these all FR?

If my count is right this would be four FR next year, with Chandler, Perry and Noah as Soph’s, and Brandon Garrison a JR with Oweh as the only SR.

That would leave 3 spots open for portal transfers I believe barring a player I’ve missed.

Yes, but we're at 12 this year with an open spot and scholarships actually go to 15 next year. So 6 more spots for additional freshman or transfers next year.

Wilson is Klutch, right?
Yes, we are still in it but so are Arkansas and UNC. He visited UNC over the weekend, we are doing an in home today and he's visiting Tennessee this weekend. As it stands, Arkansas a slight lead of us and UNC. He's planning to commit somewhere before Cenac.

A Mikka Murrinen reclass could be in play as a PF or Nikola Bundalo who are both Andrew Carr types and might be better overall fits than Wilson/Cenac.
