I know there are a few folks who think we can't do better than Stoops, I'd like their opinion watching this offering tonight.
Zion Childress just exemplified the Stoops regime at the current moment.
IU couldnt do better either. Until they did. Some folks just can’t see things for what they could be. Only what has been. They’re wrong and typically not doing much in life.
Well you see the prevailing thought is that there is not another coach, in the entire galaxy, that would be able to recruit and foster relations with the big boosters like our current staff.
The same was said about getting rid of Cal, too, so you know it’s ********.
I wish we’d just try and do one thing well on offense instead of trying to do everything.
Does anyone actually believe that? Seems like the strongest defense of Stoops is that just because we’re on the tail end of his run doesn’t mean he always sucked and really didn’t accomplish anything.
I do believe this is becoming UNTENABLE. Good news is I knew exactly when UK basketball under Calipari became UNTENABLE. Unfortunately it took 6 years for changes to be made, so.....
Anyone still going to these games and/or still holding onto any glimmer of hope with Stoops isn’t helping with what would be best long-term for the program; running him
out of town.
It’s unfortunate we play Louisville the last game instead of someone like Auburn or Vandy because folks will want to go to that game solely due to the rivalry. Anyone that goes to the Murray game is a glutton for punishment.

4th game this year, 3rd at home, where we are getting embarrassed as the favorite.
Finally learned my lesson. Stayed warm on my couch. Gave my tickets away. Tired of 7 hour drives to go 0-4 against the SEC.

It's one thing when Stoops looks clueless on offense but for them to basically allow run after run straight up the middle is inexcusable.
It’s not that I don’t think it can be better, and I certainly do not see this as worthy of 9M a year.
But you aren’t going to make too many business decisions that eating a good 30-40M to fire a guy that has led to the best era in my life(45 years) of UK Football. The money is still there in support, facilities are good and the recruiting is still solid so the future should be fine.
Personally I think the OC/QB rotating door is to blame for a lot of the offensive incompetence. But I also honestly think this NIL stuff has made otherwise solid players think they are damn stars!
Lastly and least important but coach should be allowed a down year. Now I know some believe the past 2 years were down and I’d have a hard time arguing against that except we made bowl games so Stoops bosses probably don’t see it from a fans perspective especially with 30-40M on the line.
The product is flat out underwhelming at best and I’d really say it’s almost a guarantee that Stoops is lacking focus between a divorce, investment in RD1, coaching changes, Texas A&M last off season it’s just a clear whirlwind and now his mom has passed……..that’s just a ton for any person and especially a person in the limelight and having to be accountable for his failures.
I honestly could see him stepping down and going off the grid for a year which would be best for all parties at this point.

You don't deserve grace for a down year right after you tried leaving for another program in the middle of the night.
His heart isn't in it and, more importantly, we've seen enough to know that the offense will never be at the required standard under him. Time to go.
