No one has said fire him Krazy (although it’s more deserved that you’re letting on if it weren’t for the buyout issue). We can run him off though. He’s already tried to get out of here for years so it’s time for us to give him a much needed nudge out the door

If he comes back season, tickets and NIL will take a big hit. The roster next year has the potential to be terrible. OC will leave per usual too, some commits will smarten up and flip too.

It’s not just one down year he was in the hot seat already this time last year but the Lewisville win bought him some favor.

This is all eerily too similar to Cal.

This is nothing like Cal.

The only thing I’m defending is that we won’t fire Stoops. We weren’t going to fire Cal either and that’s about the only thing that is comparable.

I’m not worried about a thing if he leaves.

So archaec offenses, being unwilling to change, micromanaging the staff, can’t manage late game situations, playing down to their competition, getting tight in big games and it carrying over to their players, incessantly berating refs, routinely flirting to leave for other jobs, having a disconnect with fans etc. doesn’t make Stoops and Cal similar?

We ran wimsatt 10x for 16 yards lol. Defintively should have elected weird kelly craft and prayed they would keep burning cash on this dumpster fire.

Their coach was literally on the doubtful list due to the *****. Man.

I don’t understand this whole “we don’t know what’s happened” discussion with the team.

Our offense is dogshit. The play calling is awful. Our execution is even worse. We seem to have no strategy. What we do well (rb running the ball) we never do. I have no clue what the foundation of our offense is.

In 3 of our 4 SEC losses, we’ve give up a combined 57pts. Our D hasn’t been great, but that should more than good enough to get a couple wins.

We’ve scored 81 pts in 6 sec games. That is historically bad. Coupled with a **** punter and we just keep putting our D in tough spots drive after drive.

This is the problem. It’s in our DNA… has been a theme the last few years. I saw where Arkansas had > 600 yds for the 3rd time this year. It takes 2.5 games for us to get 600.

Get the offense fixed and it fixes the problem.

Vanderbilt in year three of a new staff just beat Alabama and lost to Texas by 3 with about a third the talent we have. It should be noted that they got the most important position correct though (qb).

Coaching matters, and our group is awful.

Vanderpump completes only 4 to Key. If you’re going to throw 20 times to him you got to do better than that. Missed a lot of open receivers when he didn’t go through progressions.
So, you bring Wimsatt in and only call deep balls?
Staff is clueless. Defense is shot or quit.
Wilcox can’t block which was evident in first play from scrimmage..
Basketball season.

I mean this team played Georgia to within one possession and beat Ole Miss at Ole Miss. the talent is there, but the players have quit. That’s as bad an indictment of the coaching staff as anything that can ever happen. How do you come back from this? The season is far from over just seems like it’s going to snowball even worse.

Stoops has taken the program to places never seen by people like me. He deserves credit and appreciation for that. He has also returned it right back to where it was when he got here. He deserves credit for that too.

Yep - we’ve had some great times. Will never forget beating Lamar, bringing Georgia to Commonwealth to settle the East, etc etc but he’s lost the fire. Time to work on a settlement. This isn’t the time to revert to old Kentucky football.

Sunday Randoms:

- Some nutsack in the political thread is quoting posts of mine from three years ago. Sorry hoss, got banned from there in early 2021.

- UK football is ******* embarrassing. Anyone with a backbone would resign when getting paid $9 mil a year to deliver…..that.

- Still playing men’s league at the ripe old age of 41. Three dunks the other night. Get some, Vern.

Stoops literally left UK last November.

If any of us felt it was time to move on from our current job, accepted another position only to have the new employer rescind the offer, it wouldn’t change the fact that we felt it was time to move on.

This just isn’t discussed enough in regards to why he has appeared disinterested and unenthusiastic ever since.

It’s also why fans aren’t rallying to support him in spite of his prior success here.

The thing is, the program isn’t “right back to where it was when he got here.” Our facilities are SEC quality. We have NIL resources. Fan support is still high. There is a pot of gold for coach salaries. The roster talent is miles better.

The state of the program is hardly recognizable from the Joker era. Despite all that, the product is roughly the same.

I think I’m pseudo banned from posting in this thread. When I go to the GD board, GYERO doesn’t even appear. Somehow it’s hidden from me. I have to click the “alert” icon in the top right and access it that way. Probably a workaround that some ban happy self important mod didn’t realize was available.

The last two times I’ve been banned….

- there was a tattoo thread. Someone posted that tattoos were for ******, and I responded “your mom is a *****.”

- end of the baseball season when I guess I posted too many UKO #defiantLs tweets.

Been posting here for 23 years and I have no clue who the mods are or how to even contact any of them.

Weird someone posting as Kgar and he is dead I thought

JasonSpear posted and he hasn’t been on here in years on Rupp Rafters

People who were moderators aren’t showing by names that they are one, as in Justwar

Someone posted in Rupp Rafters stated that the poster Kevin Bryan was the top moderator and he took care of everything and even said he had a secretary. Just fyi
