The Pope might actually BE a Saint. This is so damned refreshing.

Pope has turned a cantankerous old **** like me, into a blathering empty-headed optimist. If I wasn't so happy this would be disconcerting.

And, if breathing fresh life into UK Basketball wasn't enough, he's put GYERO on his back, and put it back on the mantle, where it belongs. I love you guys.

GYERO really hates some Jaxon Robinson?

Just read Page 396-current and it’s like he didn’t absolutely go off for 27, and carry us for a large portion when everyone else was ***. Or even play? Barely a mention In the most hostile environment of the season to date? Fresh off his worst game ?

Him being a force is crucial to us being *legit, so get on board imo. Huge game for him, but especially for US (err, the team)

He’s been a a bit of a disappointment overall, sure. But goddam.

😕

He’s supposed to be “the guy” even though he’s never been that.

Our 2 huge road wins, he’s been exactly that. Struggled quite a bit otherwise, but I’m all for pumping our guy up when he earns it.

27 pts, 7/10 from 3. That’s a monster performance from a guy who was clearly reeling & in his own head. 🙌🏽

Take care of biz at Rupp next week and we are undisputed as a contender.

I like that Robinson is stepping up, makes nights where they key on Brea harder to do. Six players in double figures and Brea only had 3 points, it’s nice having so many options. Keep playing loose and together, shore up the defense, pitch whatever zone-matchup defense we got torched trying, hit your damn free throws and we’re a legit Final Four team.

We desperately needed a tough road win against a solid team. Now we know what it takes. Very proud of Amari. On top of his 10/12/6/2 performance, he played very strong defense on Matthews down the stretch.

Very happy for Jax. He needed this game. There will be a game when he and Brea both go off. We may score 140 when that occurs.

Megatron Steph can shoot, boys.

God, I love that kid. Him and Lamont Butler (for entirely different reasons) are as much fun as I have had watching basketball in a long, long time.

Jaxson was giving an interview after the game and talked about how he's been in a slump and it bothered him. He came across as a thoughtful young man. What a delight. It could not be more different than the last few years.

I'd rather stick my dick in a pencil sharpener than pretend to root for Karter GD Knox and that ilk (and that's a knock on Calipari, not Karter). This is a dream as a fan. We are elite AND lovable.

Mississippi State is legit, btw. Their coach ain't much to look at but that bastard is going places better than Starkville and I liked their roster. That's a great modern basketball team. Beating them in that asylum is quite the accomplishment.
