Garrison is really a good situational matchup against a team like uscjr without boyles in. Think we may see it again in March when it really matters. In the sec its going to continue to be a tough go for him.
Close outs on shooters is 100% better. Obviously butler on the perimeter changes the game entirely. Encouraged.

Big fan of dawgs like him. Physical defensive stopper that could do some **** off the dribble and was an elite trash talker. Played out of position while here; would have liked for him to have been able to play point here one year.

Grab, pull, yank, slap and hack the ball handler above the 3 point line is completely and totally legal, but you best not look at someone too long.
I’d love to fire SEC refs into the GD sun.
The sheer absurdity of the state of officiating in this league - call on a foul on the defensive player, which will stand no matter what, then immediately go to the monitor to see if the offensive player actually committed a flagrant.
Officials going to the monitor is the most infuriating part of SEC play to me this season. The calls aren’t good, but the endless reviews are absurd and make the games drawn out and painful.

Just what we needed. Good defensive effort, overcame horrible start and clicked offensively. Brea with a good game aside from just scoring, and Butler back in the fold.

This game might help our defensive efficiency stats. South Carolina finally providing us what half the league used to provide us with in the past - an easy win when not even playing that well.
On to Tuesday to erase the last two and keep us in top 16. Having a PG is fun. Beat the Vols.

Obviously you can’t argue an 0-10 team isn’t complete ***, but with their very close losses to legitimately good teams makes me feel even better about kicking their asses.
Went to show at the funny bone in columbus last night. The opening act was from Louisville, he was pretty good, had a bit talking about Indis being the best fried chicken in town.
