- Look, I’m a peaceable man. I normally don’t go in for this kind of thing. And as a wise man once said, never attribute to malice what can be attributed to incompetence. But, out of curiosity, does Terry Oglesby own a business of any kind? Again, I would never condone certain methods… but you can’t deny their efficacy.

-Jones posted that he's hearing positive rumblings about Butler being available for the NCAA tourney.

-McCaffery fired

-Sounds like Wade could go to NC State and McCollum or Brownell to Indiana

-Flagg out tonight

About a month out from 6 weeks in Italy 🤩:
  1. Dolomites
  2. Milan (+ Lumineers concert)
  3. Venice
  4. Bologna
  5. Florence
  6. Tuscany Villa (for 10 days)
  7. Rome
Recommendations welcome.
I'm assuming here that you are hitting all of the major highlights.

Bologna - Lamborghini Museum. Awesome gallery of cars, only takes about an hour or so.
Florence - It's an easy train ride from Florence to go see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Also fun to climb the stairs to the top (terrific view).
Rome - the remains of Circus Maximus (possibly the first ever horse track).
Rome - recently excavated site of Julius Caesar assassination

Genuine Italian gelato is one of the most awesomest treats ever invented.

Do we have a shot tonight? We are going to be guarding Mark Sears with 40 minutes (I presume) of honk freshmen. I think Chandler has really blossomed as a defender of late but let's not get crazy calling him a stopper or anything.

I think we match up with Alabama worse than any team in the nation when healthy. Under these circumstances, Pope is going to be doing the Lord's work to keep it respectable.

Pantheon in Rome is awesome.

Siena is worth a trip.

As far as best places I’ve been Rome and Istanbul are at the top. The history hangs heavy over everything. Seeing the remains of the city walls in Istanbul was amazing and the Hagia Sophia is just incredible. And the people there were really friendly.

He has definitely become a better defender but he still gets abused quite a bit by guards going to the hole.

😂 @ McCollum/Brownell
Exactly! What happened with Brad Stevens, Dusty May, Scott Drew? Even Rick Pitino's name was thrown around! All the self-righteous, "we do things the right way", f#ck IU for eternity! They allowed players and university employees to be abused and now coming to light, even diddled (which seems to be a Big Ten thing). I hope karma from the the abuse and threats to Neil Reed, who dared to tell the truth, and died a broken man at 36, never allows that program to even sniff being a power again.

1> We did the Tre Cime hike just outside of Cortina d'Ampezzo in May. There were still spots with snow on the ground, although it was warm.

Absolutely stunning. It's not super challenging, but it ain't flat. We ended up adding an extra 4ish miles each way, as the road up to the actual start/finish was closed for some odd reason.

Alabama is beatable and they play how we want to play so it comes down to can our non key players step up.

It was odd seeing Williams limited last night and Perry not play at all in the 2nd half. Hopefully Pope has a successful plan dialed up because for other than obvious reasons, I’d love to get 1 more win in this tournament.

Also, despite how much of a serious National Chanpion contender I think Florida is I truly think Mizzou could upset them today.

*Rhoback has a couple of new UK polos. One is like the old one, only this on has UK symbols on it too.

The other is a shirt called, “The Kentucky Rupp Arena” shirt. Already sold out.

*RJ Davis, at age 35, is the 3rd leading scorer in ACC history. The Covid years will have to have an * beside records, right?

*Haven’t had booze in almost 2 months and it feels great. This can only mean I will be **** faced very soon.

*Ferry from Salerno to Positano was one of the more scenic trips I’ve ever taken.

*Arkansas > Louisville.
I don’t hate Cal. I would only hate him if he would have stayed and had an Arkansas like season here.

Flipped on the UK baseball game on radio. First inning clocked in at 42 mins, 6 walks, and a 3-2 game. Jesus.
