Not overly thrilled with a possible 3rd game with Tenn, but overall that's a great bracket for us. Regional in Indy will be a home game for us if we get there.

Not looking at any other matchup for KY other than Troy. The last several early round losses has scarred the heck out of me.
Beating Troy, if it happens, will double our NCAA tournament wins spanning the last 6 years.
Bubba Cunningham oversaw what was arguably the most corrupt athletic department in history at unc (and would have been justifiably fired if that school had any integrity), so I'm sure the selection in giving unc a bid was totally fair.
Headline: UNC gets the death penalty, and won't be able to field a team/compete in NCAA basketball for the next 7 years.

That’s the kind of bracket that, with a break or two, or with a night of hot shooting, is the kind where we can stick around for maybe a game or two longer than we should given all the headwinds this year. More time for pope to build the brand, show his style to recruits, have UK on the big stage, etc.

I find it remarkable that the committee punished the **** out of the top of the ACC for being a **** conference then rewarded UNC arguably the most underserved spot ever.
I'm not trying to come across as a downer. But I refuse to consider ANYTHING past trying to beat Troy.

Arkansas beat Troy 65-49 one good guard poor 3 pt team I mean if we dont run them we dont deserve it. 25 ranked defense team may concern but they havent seen a Kentucky. Williams/oweh should eat.

They’re a mediocre team in a **** league. Those types of teams are 8-seeds.
Troy has won six straight by an average of over 13 points a game. It looks like they ran through their conference tournament, winning each game by double digits. They also have the Sun Belt POY. It won't be easy, but Pope will not allow us to lose this one. In that, I'm fully confident.
2017 is the last time we didn’t play at 7:10 on CBS. I believe the only Friday game we’ve had is the Providence game in 2023 though.
