One thing it appears Pope is doing is setting up for multi-year players. You seen it with Houston/Florida…keep your own and add a piece. Florida’s offense gets the notice but they rebound the piss out of it and sat down and guarded when they needed it. Multiple capable bigs help. Pope looking to duplicate?
Hence, the Jayden Quaintance pursuit is interesting. Pope stockpiling players? We need a sniper and would love a stretch 4. JQ to follow up Mo D commitment almost comes off as pushing someone out the door. Sounds like we are the leader but Auburn pushing.

Not sure you all are grasping what that will mean for Pope on the recruiting trail for years to come, and also what that type of talent would mean for any team much less one that plans to shoot 20-30 three’s a game.
