Dave told us never to lease…

Concert tix, figuring good seats are probably 10x what they were in high school, 40 years ago. Still have yet to see the Stones.

I’m feeling good about the Cats tomorrow, what could go wrong?

MLB playoffs are something else when you actually have your rooting interest involved. Epic pitching performances from about 15 guys last night.

Time to beat the Blue Birds now.

Only bet today was Texas -1.

On edge for the Cubs. Absolutely crushing fielding blunders the last 2 nights to lose games by the Phillies and Tigers.

In some ways I get the scapegoat BS about Bartman, but reality Gonzalez had a chance in 03 and had a fielding blunder that cost us. That is the WORST way to lose followed by some sort of walk off HR.

Go Cubs!

Well gang, it's a big decision tonight.

Do I watch Big Blue Madness or instead do I just watch "Best of Steve Urkel" highlights on Youtube?

Did I miss something in the Mariners/Tigers game? The only fielding blunders by the Tigers were cleaned up by the pitching. Mariners won off of two walks and a base hit IIRC. I was also a touch high and it was 1 in the morning, so I may be misremembering. EDIT : I am misremembering.

Either way, hell of a game and I'm sure Cubbies/Brewers will be no different.

I wonder if Pope's special guest tonight will be O.H. Napier?! Can you imagine? Alive from the dead, it had all been a ruse, a sham, a shakedown! And ole Napier brings out his acoustic guitar and sings up something sweet and soulful with the bellybutton on his little potbelly just bobbing up and down while he heals us all.

I thought there was a misplay in getting the bases loaded in the 15th.

I was about 4-5 bourbons in by 130am though, so maybe not.

Is there any media market in the entire country in which you can live and not be subjected to every single Cowboys game EVERY SINGLE SEASON?

TIA

The sooner people realize Sumrall ain’t going to coach at UK, the better.
We can get him if one of the bigger openings don’t get him first. Not many openings better than us at the moment (I say we’re 3rd currently when you factor in the league/salary/tv $)but there’s a long way to go.

Good thing is for our tier of school there are some other good options like Lea, Stein, Hartline, etc. if we miss out.

It was encouraging to hear Matt say that things have changed and the buyout money will be there if we need it. Please don’t just do the easy thing and hire White.

Also the sooner everyone realizes Sumrall isn’t on most universities radar the better too!

Penn St? He has another step in has pathway before getting that type of job.
You’ve been beating that drum by yourself like 95% of your wack takes. Keep them coming as they are enlightening to say the least. You’ve made up where Rogue left off so congrats.

You’ve got bigger fish to fry anyway since Down Hown will be signed over to me after the Cats go ofer in the league.

Well, logic seems to be with me in saying

1- UK isn’t eating 37M to get rid of Stoops.

2- UF is going to go big after taking chances on back to back small school coaches in McElwain and Napier.

3- PSU isn’t looking at Tulane for their next coach.

That’s not much of a drum to beat really while you and about half this thread pretend Sumrall is the only coach that can coach.

The money is now there for the buyout.

Sumrall will be one of the big fish available because there aren’t many big name options this year. You don’t mention who the big names are because there aren’t many (aside from Cignetti who may use the big boy offers for a raise and stay put and maybe Kiffin)
