Some interesting Stoops' contract terms:
-He gets $250,000 for every win beginning with the 9th win of each season.
-If he wins 7 or 8 games, he gets another year added onto the contact. (not 9 for some reason)
-10 wins he gets an automatic 2-year extension.

So, say we beat Tennessee Tech and Vanderbilt. Then, by rooting for UK to beat U of L, we would also be rooting for an additional 1 year Stoops extension on the back end.

I think I remembered Jones say that the Stoops autorenewal contract extension via wins was eliminated in the last iteration.

If he wins 10 games in a season and/or gets to the playoffs, Stoops ought to get a 2 year extension. It is the buyout that's the issue.

That term he mentioned was if he made a bowl game he got an extra year. That’s gone but these are in now.
