Anyone got a YouTube video recommendation for at-home prime rib -- especially a two person portion? I'm craving it but don't want to brave a steakhouse on a holiday weekend. One of the few things I've never done well at home.

* UK Athletics can be remarkably deaf to fan's wishes but this is as heated as I've seen the BBN in my adult life. Whether it results in actual change remains to be seen. I have serious doubts that the powers that be even know the severity of fan discontent.

Football and men's basketball are all that really matter. If they stink (and they do, though not equally), Billy Jack Wildcat doesn't particularly care about the successes of the minor sports. They are sideshows to the main attraction.

* Maybe GYERO should move to HOB. Whether anyone still reads or not -- Happy Thanksgiving, Wildcat Fans.

-One of the funniest things Woodford and Water wrote as Fake Jerry Tipton was that piece on KSR where he brought up JR Van Hoose. Wish I could find it to read it again.

-Tony Key was like the Shaquille O'Neal of the 4th Region. He was unstoppable down low. Fortunately, my alma mater gave him just enough trouble in the regional final to make our only Sweet 16 appearance to date.

Tennessee got arguably the best win of the season so far last night and they're playing for 3rd place and missing out a on a share of 1 million dollars because Michigan beat SDSU by more than they beat Rutgers.

And this makes UK and Duke’s stance of not doing this 100% valid.

Why give them the blue fans and marketing of TV exposure just to illogically be taken away from the real benefit of the championship.

Cool idea but…………

I don't know about you I still like UK Basketball.

Todd Tackett was a 6'2 guard who could not shoot a lick.

My favorite JP Blevins story was during some random game I happen to win the lottery and had row A seats. Some guys I went to grade school with came to the game plastered and were a couple of rows behind me. They proceed to heckle the UK bench pretty much pissing everyone off. When Blevins goes up to check in one of them yells "JP! JP! Get in there and shoot a 3!" Tubby turns and gives the whole student section the trademark Tubby Death stare.

This is embarrassing. We look completely uninterested, no sense or flow to an offense, just pathetic.

we are gonna get absolutely run by Gonzaga, Carolina and St. John’s. Not to mention some of the SEC games

It’s really hard for good shooters to shoot well in limited minutes, they don’t get into the flow, etc.

The only two examples of shooters that shot well despite limited minutes that I remember at UK are Mills and Almonor.

There are a bevy of examples of good shooters who struggled in that role: Tackett, Hood, Mulder, Baker, Juzang, Allen, Perry, Carrier, Blevins

Noah will be an interesting case study for this and could break the mold.

Garrison is almost unplayable!
He’s infuriating to watch right now, I’m so tired of him. I wish Jelavic would start getting some more of his mins. Man, we really need that W next Tuesday night.

so yeah Michigan is a problem. They only beat Gonzaga by 40 pts last night. 👀

@CSC81 - Your Bears team is bona fide legit. And as a Packer fan, it hurts me to admit that. LOL

Guess it'll just be me in here from now on then. It's gonna be like Grey Gardens.

All honor and respect to GYERO, great run circa 25 years. But nowadays there are probably fewer than 5 of the Originals still around.

One of us survivors - someone who is a more frequent and more entertaining poster than I am - needs to start up a new discussion thread under a new and updated name.

It'll be smaller and way less active than peak GYERO, but can still adhere to Have A Take / Don't Suck.

Someone make it happen, I'm in

Drinkwitz and Lea both sign extensions, which means that some of these bigger jobs might be getting filled by HC’s from lower tier schools. One of these lower tiered schools will undoubtedly become enamored with Stoops and break all of our hearts by hiring him away. 🙏

KSR pregame show making it sound realistic that Barnhart will announce hes taking the special assistant gig at the beginning of the year with him stepping down by July 1.

We will see but, if true, it is a great step..

That’s too much time to allow him to make bad decisions. Further, guarantee he’ll be involved in choosing his successor.

Body Hurts from hanging lights outside.
Body from carrying heavy boxes up and down stairs as the wife changes from Thanksgiving decor to Christmas decorations, including Christmas china. Where is it? Check the fall family room box. But wait Easter decor is right around the corner.

i did not sign up for this, yet here we are.

We have 7 Christmas trees, counting the two outside. We have a life sized Santa and Nutcracker. Decorations galore. They’ve been up for 2+ weeks. My contribution has been getting the stuff down, moving the heavy stuff around and hanging lights on the fence.
I used to be a hard line day after Thanksgiving guy, but I’ve decided that as much trouble as my wife goes through putting everything up, that we need to put it up as early as possible to make it worthwhile.
