Our defensive rebounding is a gd tragedy. They have 9 offensive rebounds.
We really don’t seem to have flow on offense. Very little assists, just one on one plays. Our rebounding blows too. Just not big of enough of a sample size to feel confident Pope corrects it or they gel
Maybe it's too early yet,but this Kentucky team is struggling on the offensive end.
How the hell did Pope not recruit more shooters this year. Like of all the damn coaches to not have at least two snipers on the court at all times

What is up with our 3 point shooting? You can tell every shot is so far off when they are launched, and Noah won’t shoot one. Goose said he hasn’t missed one in practice for days.
Kam Williams was a 40% shooter coming in and seemingly misses the entire rim on at least one 3 attempt per game.
As much as Pope is considered an offensive savant, we are getting absolutely nothing out of our Zoom action. This year it is akin to Cal’s Floppy action.
Teams are just running us off the line and we have no one to punish them off bounce.
Jelly needs to play more and Jasper Johnson needs to play less.
Johnson has not shown much of anything other than being a liability. Zero effort on defense and moves on offense like he’s waiting on his OTE cameraman to get into position.

This offense looks NOTHING like last year's offense. Probably because we can't throw it in the ocean.

We’re trying to run zoom but don’t have the playmakers or, apparently, the athletes. Nobody on the team can take their man off the dribble except Lowe and you can help off our “shooters” with impunity on the rare occasions we do shake somebody loose. No space. Plus we don’t really cut hard off-ball or set good screens outside of sometimes Moreno.
Oh and also we look tentative and the ball gets stuck. Nobody really attacks close outs.

First time feeling deja vu with Pope. This is a Cal game 100%. Poorly constructed team, wrong lineups getting extended run and no sense of urgency for the tough play.
Really like Moreno/Jelavic/Denzel/Chandler together. Need to find a way to ride those guys tonight.

I mean this team plays so markedly different from last year - like everything I liked about how we played is gone and everything I hated about how we played last year is here 1000 fold
Moreno is really, really good. He’s prone to freshman mistakes, like overhelping on Williams so we have nobody to rebound, but he has really saved us with Quaintance being out.

It is amazing how different the offense is from last year to this year,and not in a good way.
I love Pope and think we will be better when JQ is back, but I do not think he has a clue how to use and athlete like Wilson.
I’m not mad at Kam in this one has he is handling Wilson on the other end so it’s a give and take in this game.
Jelavic has been excellent. He is indeed our best on ball defender. Caleb Wilson has been able to do nothing against him.
