Before they close down shop. After some 17 years, I'd like to apologize to Wildcat Willy, wherever he may be. You were right about Dale Earnhardt Jr.
What a bunch of bullThe general discussion board is going away. GYERO will be moved to the new free board on on3, I think called Rupps Rafters. Like it did when CI and on3 merged, it may take some time for all of it to move over, but the history of it will be there eventually. The boards will merge this afternoon from what I understand.

On3 is getting away from all free forums if any sort. Justin and I both convinced him that they should leave Rupps Rafters and I personally said we should do the same for GYERO. On3 would rather have had neither

Gyero was on life support as it was because of the new site. Rafters would've killed it. Appreciate the effort, buddy, but no chance we're posting on rafters. End of an era.
Unbelievably, I’m not sure how many times we moved to new boards. Lot of years and memories spent with all you fools. Hopefully, there’s another option, this is definitely the best place for Wildcat friends. Until then, keep your head towards the wind and your heart in Kentucky!!

Reminds me: It's 1998 in San Antonio, the Sunday between Final Four games. We're getting hammered at a Mexican restaurant on the Riverwalk.
Plenty of UNC fans still around and in the restaurant, even though Utah monumentally upset them the night before.
The walking Mariachi band comes to our table and we had them play "Vaya Con Dios, North Carolina", which they sang in earnest and with lovely Spanish accents. Pissed off a lot of UNC fans. Made a lot of others laugh.
^Seems like a fitting farewell post for the new GYERO, so thanks for setting the table on that, beagle.
Coming from someone who gets butt hurt over the slightest dig and bans/blocks people, this is rich.
I think Rafters needs a Math Bowl thread.
Now for something completely different: Gyero in Nigeria is the name of a plant defined with Pennisetum glaucum in various botanical sources.
Remember when you said GYERO would live forever and then Matt Jones saved GYERO in the great merger of 2026? Yeah, that was cool.
